I was thinking the same thing and made John come look as well - it's probably like a palm tree to me! (here in FL)
Probably! Whenever I'm in Florida, I'm fascinated by all the palm trees in people's yards! So cool!

and I am sorry for posting so many pictures..but I love looking at everyone's pictures (except ones of me!!). Plus - it's helpful when we meet! I can remember walking up to the check in counter at PC and John1 saying Hi V! - we had never met, simply messaged our way through the DIS and I had friends!!!!
That's what happened on our last Disney cruise too. I was in line at the desk for the DCL bus at the airport, Tyler had a blister on his heel and was crying, the woman in front of me told me she had a bandaid in her purse and as she gave it to us, her husband turned around and said, "Holly and Tyler"! Then I recognized his picture too from the DISboards. It's so fun to recognize everybody right when you meet them! I think so many of us have pics in either our signature or as our avatar, it will be easy to spot many of us. And posting pics helps too! :thumbsup2

Oh...I forgot to get to the point (getting too sleepy to focus). So don't apologize for all your pics V. We all love them!

So Tyler got home about 7:20, we did a quick bedtime routine, and he's been asleep for about 45 minutes. He was one tired little guy. But first he told me he wanted to do a check of everything in his backpack to make sure he had everything he needs! :rotfl2:

well good night Holly - did Tyler make it home and I missed it?
:rotfl2: I must have posted about that the same time you posted your question. LOL! Yup....he was tired, so it was a really quick bedtime routine and I'm back here now. Didn't even miss me, did you?! :rotfl:

Goodnight!

of course I missed you dear!! Please post a pic of the first day of school!!Good luck and goood night Tyler!

Our DGS starts his senior year of high school tomorrow. He is in AP classes (the ones you get college credit for) and had some summer reading and writing assigned. He started it last week, of course. :rolleyes1 He has 5 short papers to write on articles from the Washington Post or New York Times. He started looking at articles:surfweb: around 2 this afternoon, has to work from 5-10. :sad2: BUT he said all but one is written and he can "easily" do that when he gets home.

;) I'll post a couple pics from tomorrow. They won't be great because I'm still stuck using just the cruddy camera on my phone, but it's better than nothing! A cruddy pic is better than none at all. :thumbsup2 I hope to get one before we leave home, with his backpack on & ready to go (like John1 did with Sophia), then one in his room with his teacher.

I'm definitely out of here now. Wait....Hush.....What's that? My bed is calling my name! :lmao:

oh my - you know, I am a HUGE procrastinator and asiode from my spelling errors - English and writing classes were always my best followed by economics. I was just never big on showing up on time, nor daily.

I was lucky that in my senior year in high school I went to cc and got 6 gen ed classes out of the way. Of course I thought I was WAY cool at the time as well.

did I mention potty training? It was really pretty good at WDW, aside from me having to visit every restroom 50 times, Haley did great!

For some strange reason, I can't stop thinking about a big juicy

STEAK

....now...buy and cook one....or sit down and order one....???:confused3

.

We went to a steakhouse for dinner - too darn hot to cook here (104 at 5pm). I had steak and Darrell had chicken. Very tasty.

ME TOO! Pretty! And I love the cacti in the background (is that the plural for cactus?). You probably don't even notice them, but they look so cool to me, never having seen a real one.

Yes, those are saguaro, found only in the Sonoran dessert.

Yes, I have a happy tummy....got my NY strip steak and shared a molten lava cake with Peg. No more sugar THIS MONTH (that will be hard). We had a very nice time at Chili's, as my three favorite people were all there. So we had my favorite waitress, my favorite waiter had just gotten off his shift, so he sat and visited with us and my favorite hostess (his girlfriend) sat us near the front so she could visit between customers. A very nice evening! :thumbsup2

Lisa (disneylover5), in case I'm not able to get on here Tuesday:

I hope these show up and don't all turn to little red Xs or something crazy.
