So I gave up on the wallpaper border. I thought it would be easy....thought all I had to do was wet the back and stick it on. Maybe mine doesn't have glue on the back. I'm no good at figuring out home decor stuff. What a pain! When my dad & stepmom are here tomorrow, I'll see if they can help me figure it out. Good grief! Well, at least I tried.

Gee, I hope Tyler makes it home before bedtime! I'd hate to have to rush him to bed as soon as he gets here and not spend any time together. But he needs to get to bed early because I have a feeling he'll be up before our alarm goes off tomorrow!

I have no idea. His dad isn't the best at communicating with me. Yesterday we had to stick close to home, waiting for his dad to call to say they were on their way. And I didn't really even know if he was going to pick him up last night or this morning because he had told me it depended on how late they got home from Toronto. He finally called us at 5:30 to say they were about 45 minutes away. At least he called to say they were on their way because usually he just shows up and gets upset if we're not there. He hasn't learned yet that I'm not a mindreader!

that's a bummer although you guys seems to have a pretty amicable relationship. I know my mom won't even speak to my father and left my wedding early because he was there.

He actually wanted to keep Tyler overnight tonight too and just take him to school in the morning, but he and his wife both get to work around 7:30am and so when I told him the earliest Tyler can be dropped off at school is 8:20, he said, "Oh, I guess I'll have to bring him back tomorrow night". He changes his mind a lot though, so I can see him calling to tell me he'll just keep him overnight and drop him off here in the morning on his way to work. Drives me nuts.

The main reason we get along is because I just go with the flow and don't sweat the small stuff. I don't want Tyler to have to see any conflict, so I don't quibble over little differences in opinion we may have. BUT when I don't agree with him, he's horrible to deal with, and that's why things have been tense and he's not been too communicative (because I don't agree with him wanting to switch Tyler's school next year, so he's really irritable with me all the time).
