I am not sure if you posted already but why does he want top switch Tyler's school after the first year he is there?

He says the current school system is too far away. But it's not. All the schools are in a cluster, 4 miles from his house (5 miles for me). The other school system he wants to switch to is 10 miles or more. He's basing it on which is closer to work for him. We're doing school of choice, so it makes sense to pick what's closer to home, so I'm not quite sure what his problem is. But it all boils down to the fact that if he felt this way about it, he should have told me when we were trying to pick a school (I asked for his input many times and got silence) and I likely would have agreed with him because I always do. But now it's too late, because I will not agree to switching him after he has a whole year to make new friends and get adjusted to where he is now. I just won't do that for no better reason than driving distance to his dad's work. Just doesn't make sense to me.

We just got a phone call that a dear friend had a heart attack this evening and did not survive. I hate the shock, but I am glad he did not suffer. We were in church together this morning and the sermon was always, every minute of every day, being ready to meet God. One second we are on this side and the next second we are on the other and we need to be ready. He was not old, he was just an awesome man!!

Yes, I tried Jenny Craig once and all the aspartame made me very ill. My ears were ringing even. If you have an intolerance to that stuff it can be very bad.

Similar aspartame incidents here as well . . .

Greetings from the Disneyland Resort. This morning Mrs. Woody and I completed the Disneyland Half Marathon. It was very hot, and I am tired.

The course went through Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, and Angel Stadium where we saw ourselves on the JumboTron.Woody

Whats up with that lady behind you in the third picture? She looks a little annoyed.....Like can you noisy people just keep it down over there!

Just some stranger... she was sitting at the table behind us... yes we were making a lot of noise, but there is a LIVE band there, so no one heard too much of ANYTHING! Love that place, great music. I danced too much, my knees were killing me the next day, but people were calling me saying I was BOUNCING the entire night, even just standing around with them and drinking and talking... Hey, I can't help it, I FEEL the music!

I agree, it doesn't make sense to me either.

He insists, actually informed me that he will be enrolling Tyler in that other school system and when he gets the acceptance letter, he'll tell me the details of him transfering schools. Um....NOPE. Not happening. First of all, I don't think he can legally just do that without my permission, and 2nd, that's pretty arrogant to just assume he can call the shots when we have joint legal and are supposed to choose the school together. Crazy.

Florida State or Clemson? I hope Clemson wins. I find it hard to cheer for any school that has a Bowden at it - but Terry being the quarterback coach at FS seals it for me. Go Clemson! Maybe Terry can ruin another school! I hope he never gets a coaching job again. Now that you all know my opinion...

I didn't know her, do you? She does look familar now, though. She was with an older guy. She was nice, actually let us have some of their chairs, because when Jacqueline and Donna showed up we needed more room.

It's funny how you don't notice things when you are there, in the moment...

I have photos of two other tables of people that were interacting with us - having a great time. I cannot believe I got home at 2:30 that morning!!!

We weren't expecting it to be so hot this morning. To give you an idea, it's now lunchtime at Disneyland and weather.com says its 104 degrees, but "feels like 105." OUCH!

She looks like Dawn, a girl who used to work in our Traffic Dept in the 80's. A very nice person and she was cute as a button--well, weren't we all 27 years ago!!
