I'd like to do Blue Bayou for the atmosphere and I know John and the girls would love it....but not sure how successful we would eb at reservations. Too bad the Food and Wine Fest ends right before the boat gets there!

Grand Californian on the 25-27th of May although I really love the look of the Neverland pool!

I was following a thread over on the DL forum about the left over tickets, and general consensus was that you could use them. However, I am sure someone came in and said it was NOT correct.
I would ask again over there.

A DL GS CM confirmed that yes you can use WDW tickets at DL, but a GS CM has to do an exchange each day. It is done at the turnstile and the CM there has to call in for assistance, they take your WDW ticket away and take a day off and present you with a DL one day ticket and your WDW ticket back.

I'm thinking a closer comparison would be Victoria and Alberts....or slightly between the two. Karen will be the expert on this one.

I got all excited thinking you were planning a DL trip to 'hold you over' between WDW next week and the cruise next year. I guess that's because I've been thinking about another DL run before WDW this December.....just to 'hold me over'! Though I (& PEG??) might to a long weekend in Mexico this fall....don't know about that yet.

I was over on cruise critic reading some of the threads about Costa Maya. A few of them have e-mailed David & Ivan also, but haven't heard anything yet (and we really don't expect to for a while). The pictures just make my heart ache for those wonderful people.

I know, and it seems there is not much information out there. I mean, there were donation funds set up for NO by now. I hate to think of anyone being hurt.

I don't think any deaths have been reported, but don't know about injuries. Most of the people were evacuated by the govt.

I do know that the American community down there are all checking on each other and some have major property damage, but they seem to all be checking in. Someone on the cruise critic forum in in touch with them and may have some 'relief efforts' (for the village) information to share in a few days.

I went in the other room and turned the TV to the Disney channel....so I won't miss HSM2. I left work early today....still have a really bad cough and needed to just be still to keep from hacking my lungs out (nice picture, eh?).

So, V....what's for dinner?

nothing exciting tonight Jackie. Chircken breasts marinated in Italian dressing, potatoes and a salad.
John already left for softball.

They built a huge Publix (grocery store) in between Sarasota and Bradenton (next town over) and they offer cooking classes, I can't wait to sign up for something. I love to cook, I just hate my kitchen!

BTW - Jackie, I love the Tigger pic in your avatar! I have always loved Tigger and when Haley was born we took her to Disney at a month old (I know, bad parent!!) but Tigger fed her a bottle at Crystal Palace!

How cute! I've always loved Tigger. So much that when I was pregnant with Tyler, my mom asked if I was going to call him Tigger.
