I agree!I was just happy that he extended the invite to contact him, but I've never really been one to chase men. My dad always taught my sister & I that the men should do the pursuing.

My comment was more directed toward your statement about his family not wanting him to date "white people". I was thinking maybe he had decided or perhaps someone in his family has married a "white person" so the family attitude had changed.
We have a number of Asian, mainly Chinese friends, whose attitudes have had to change drastically when one or more of their children have been the first in their family to marry a non Chinese in the recorded family history.
As for the chasing part, I don't mind being somewhat of the pursuer but really believe in a man should chase a women until "she" catches him.
