I agree! I was just happy that he extended the invite to contact him, but I've never really been one to chase men. My dad always taught my sister & I that the men should do the pursuing.

My comment was more directed toward your statement about his family not wanting him to date "white people". I was thinking maybe he had decided or perhaps someone in his family has married a "white person" so the family attitude had changed.

We have a number of Asian, mainly Chinese friends, whose attitudes have had to change drastically when one or more of their children have been the first in their family to marry a non Chinese in the recorded family history.

As for the chasing part, I don't mind being somewhat of the pursuer but really believe in a man should chase a women until "she" catches him.

Oh! I see! Good point about the possibility of a change in the family attitude, or even his. I never even thought of that! It was always frustrating for me because up until a friend of his told me how his family feels about the differences, I never even though of us as being different in that way. All I thought of was what a great guy he is! He's really involved in his church and is a youth group leader for middle school aged kids. Very active in taking them different places.

And yeah, I do tend to chase a tiny bit! I've always had it bad for this guy. The first time we went out, he didn't know I was pregnant, but by the 3rd date I had to tell him. Surprisingly, he didn't run away, but kept dating me, up until my son was 2, on and off---he'd back off for a couple months at a time telling me he was just afraid of getting too close because of how he got burned by his daughter's mom (she dumped him a couple months before the wedding).

OK....too much info. Sorry! I'm done babbling! Back to important Disney stuff!

Oh, lovely. The only day I can take Tyler to the county fair is supposed to be the hottest day of the week! I just saw the forecast and Tuesday it's supposed to be 95 degrees. Yuck! Oh well.....He's been looking forward to the fair since last summer, so we'll just drink lots of water and make the best of it!

Well, you guys went easy on me for catching up. I spent most of the day cleaning, doing laundry, and getting more into Harry Potter. I am now about halfway through, so no spoilers!

MIDNIGHT EST ONLINE BOOKING IS CONFIRMED, NO NEED TO STAY UP UNTIL 3 AM EST ANY LONGER. I WAS ABLE TO GET THE BRUNCH AND DINNER TIMES AT PALO WITH ZERO PROBLEMS.

Thank You Thank You Thank You....I have two hours to go.....mom is in a hospice house now.....been there since thursday.....we've all been with her 24/7....I get to do fly bys at home and run back.....not sleeping much and forgetting my own name. I'm watching BB on her tv tonight and was pissed that I couldn't vote for america's choice tonight since I have no internet access there.....then I'm telling John, well it's okay, at least it's not sunday and time to book Palo.....DH John says....but it is sunday......needless to say, I booked home in a hurry and I'm waiting the two hours and I'm booking Palo and spas and excursions on CC. John and mom's husband are still with her, they'll call me if I have to run back.....please mom, not for another two hours.....Palo is soooooo important!!!!!!!!!

Been trying to read and catch up.....would love to join in the fight, no time now.....I'll do it when I get back to my house on a daily basis.....but don't give up the ship....let them know that we are worth their dime and our refund.

Disney knows that for every person that drops out of this cruise that one more will sign up and at the higher cost than those of us that booked the first day. They don't seem to really care as long as they get their money! Maybe if more people would not do their excursions and let them lose money on them. Every port we are going to is very easy to get around by cab.


On another note - I am thinking about getting a charter boat to see the cliff divers in Acapulco and am wondering if others would be interested?

Absolutely.....put me on the list.....We were planning to see them because we haven't ever been there and we'd love to do it with disers on a charter boat. PM me for any info you need....John and Deb...Cat 6 GTY...I may take a few days to get back to you due to my mom's present condition, but I will get back to you.

GOT MY RESSIES.....got Palo brunch on halloween....a day at sea...only had two times available on one day....wow.....good thing I came home to book now!!!!

No Palo High Tea available. Got hot stone massage for DH John, got basic massage of DS John. Got Glass Bottom Boat excursion on CC for me and DH. Could not book DS excursion yet....not a CC member yet. Got watercraft tour for DH to do after lunch on CC....he has always wanted to let loose on a waverunner....he can go play on it without me.....I think I'll snorkle in Serenity Bay. We already have two rooms booked at Atlantis for the day in Nassau. Now, I'm done and oh so ready to go.....Mickey take me away.....
