I thought you guys might want to see some more Bobby photos . . .

Did I tell you guys he attended the wedding onboard? A DIS'er got married, and we were all invited to the wedding - even Bobby. After this photo, they had to cut him off.

Bobby made it to the pirate party too . . .

This is Kim's (Kimerinc) DH with Bobby . . .

Here is Bobby on the Dumbotron . . .

20420bobby3.jpg

Bobby even got to the beach quick enough at CCay to snag a hammock!

20420bobby4.jpg

Bobby went swimming at CC too . . . this is him on a tube with Kim and a bunch of kids . . .

. . . we will be cancelling this cruise.

. . . I so enjoyed meeting so many of you!
It was nice meeting you at the DIS meet. Hopefully we will cruise together another time.

OK John1 another tale from the "early days" back then I had a water bed like yours (no baffles nothing but a big bag of water) well when I bought the next generation mattress for it the old one got put out on the deck by the pool.
with out a frame, but full of water. let your imagination go with the rest of the story after all it was "the '60s" :hippie: :hippie: do you know how slippery that coconut oil can be:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Watch out Holly You could take this away:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :grouphug:

Grumpy John
Oh my gosh, somehow I skimmed right past this earlier and completely missed it until I saw it quoted in John1's response! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Ummm......I do have to say that's something I have no experience with! I'm actually sorry to admit that! ;) I'm a late bloomer and just hit my wild phase a few months ago and am living out things my friends say I should have done in my early 20s. :rolleyes1 Does this mean it's my mid-life crisis?

Did I tell you guys that we saw the last shuttle launch from the Magic?

We missed the welcome aboard show, but what a show on deck 10!

The Captain parked the Magic offshore, and we watched the shuttle take off! They put the NASA live feed on the Dumbotron too!

It was sooooo cool!
You're SO LUCKY! That would be the coolest thing ever! :yay: The closest we ever came was after our cruise last Sept., just as we were boarding our plane at MCO we got to watch the liftoff through the window at our boarding gate. It was final boarding call. Obviously we were too far away to see the actual shuttle itself, but of course we could see the huge orange glow going up. Super cool!

Hello....that's 1/2 mile from my house. used to walk to Town and Country when I was a teenager to visit the Cheese Shop, Bead Shop and a cool Japanesse store...now the glory of Santana Row...I hear the hotel is wonderful. It seems too close to bother with for us, but ya never know, a night away someday might just call me over...have a good time. The outdoor bar on in the middle (can't think of the name of it) has this wonderful beer and lime concoction....almost like having a DCL rum DOD :drinking1 pirate:

I'll have to try it! It is very close to us as well, but our liabilty carrier at work covers the cost so might as well enjoy a quiet nite of sleep. Sometimes I wish I had another name than "mommy." Of course I love it but really....it seems like I can't go to bathroom in peace!

Well, I think I'm going to go crank up the heat and go to bed. It's so freaking cold tonight! It was cold all day, but supposed to reach 44 tonight. Had to turn the furnace on because it was only 61 inside when we got home tonight. Brrrr!

Wiped out. Long day. Had an absolute blast at the show "Go Diego Go" live! Danced around like crazy. Dora the Explorer even made a guest appearance to help out her cousins. VERY cool show! (Except for all the cranky kids because of how late the show was).

Goodnight all!

Did anyone watch Pirate Master last Thurs night???? It's a new "survivor like" reality show by Mark Burnett. I watched it and thought it was great. They really search for treasure on a pirate ship. Can't wait to see it again this Thurs....then again, I'm a reality show junkee!!!!!:hippie: :flower3: :hippie:

Deb,

Did you sleep at all last night?

Karen

Oh skirts!!!:sad2:

We have a great store here Marks and Spencer, which has a great range - Per Una. I love the range, but the skirts go to the floor. Only very occasionally do they do a short version, which of course is never in the skirt I want. Sometimes they do shorter skirts so I can get a 'long' length, but then it can be too short!

Eddie Bauer www.eddiebauer.com and Coldwater Creek www.coldwatercreek.com carry most items in petite. Their Petite XL fits me pretty well!

Oh man...I could have had a pretzel dog two weeks ago? Bummer.....
Think maybe I'll go on line and see if I'm missing an Auntie Anne's closer to home!

Auntie Anne's is a pretzel shop and they make hot dogs wrapped in pretzel dough...the dough kind of spirals around the hot dog. Sooooo yummmmy, especially when dipped in hot cheese!

HEY ALL YOU DECEMBER WDW VISITORS.....it's bout Advanced Dining Reservation time! The 180 day window hits today for 12/2 arrivals (however, they didn't have the w/o 12/3 'loaded' into this system this morning, so I couldn't make mine yet). Remember it's Mousefest that week, so lots of knowledgable WDW fans will be booking their stuff 180 days out!

Did I mention (gloating...) that we got Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's during our stay in November?

So excited!!!

Karen

I have my ADR's made for the week before, but just want 2 more for our new reservation. We won't be on the DP for these 4 days and will just have come off the ship and hopefully 'fed' up!!!

I am thinking of Fresh at the Dolphin for a nice lunch, but need to think of 1 for our last evening. I would choose Cali Grill or Artist Point, but don't really want that expense. Any ideas? We already have ressies for Le Chefs de France, CP breakfast, Kona Cafe, LTT, Citricos and Raglan Road.
Anyone eaten at Olivias?

Marilyn,

You must try Jiko at AKL. It really is amazing and very unique. It also allows a look at the lodge which is also very amazing! It isn't cheap, but it is not quite as pricey as Cal Grill or Artist Point.

I bet it was indeed!!!! Can't wait to hopefully have that experience myself! Thanks for sharing the photos!

Hi all,

I wanted you to be the first to know that because of DH's job change, we will be cancelling this cruise. :sad1:

:

Well that sucks! Didn't even get to meet your husband. Oh well, stuff happens. Take care and say "hey" to Conner for me, o.k.?pirate:

Well today my angel graduated from preschool!!! Hard to believe. It was so cute to see him so proud of himself!

Here he is with his two teachers:

102 here today... wishing it was 60 - NO I'm NOT kidding!!!:rolleyes1

Hi all,

I've been absent from here for a while--lots of things going on. DH job change, transitioning out of my parttime job, and forgetting my password for the DIS (and didn't have time to take to go through the short process of getting a new one until now).

I wanted you to be the first to know that because of DH's job change, we will be cancelling this cruise. :sad1:

When it came down to it, 16 nights (including the pre-cruise night) was just way too much for my DH and my BIL.

The only thing that has made this decision bearable is that we have booked an RCI Voyager Western for April 2008. So, my mom gets her "historical" cruise (several ports with excursions to Mayan ruins), and I still get a cruise vacation! And I'm actually excited about trying a new ship, and I'm so excited to go to Roatan Island, Honduras. I've heard the snorkling is incredible, and right off the beach.

So, once I finish writing this, I'm calling DCL to cancel--SO, there will be a cat 4 open and two cat 8s open. So let anyone you know who wants to book that there is availability!

I so enjoyed meeting so many of you! Always feel free to PM me. I hope you will post live trip report threads and/or blogs! I will be keeping up with your journey practically every free minute! :thanks:

We're so sorry that you have to cancel. Maybe we'll see you on another cruise.

Best of luck and hope you have fun on your other "ship".

Karen
