Glad you liked Hairspray! Tyler saw the preview for it on a movie we rented over the weekend (The Last Mimzy) and wants to see it (because of the singing and dancing). I told him it's probably not for little kids, but that I'd check it out.I, too, just checked out the Safari website. It looks very cool!
I went to see Hairspray today. It was great! I couldn't wait to get home and downloaed the soundtrack onto my new iPod! Speaking of which...
I'm now on my second iPod--had to take the first one back to Costco. Something happened to it and it wouldn't stop "synching" even though all the new files had downloaded...So I called Apple tech support and after trying some things I was told it was DOA and they would send me a box to return it in. But I just took it back to Costco instead. They're so great about returns.
Hope everyone has a nice Monday--it's rained again today so I'm a HAPPY CAMPER!![]()

OH MY GOSH! I had no idea how horrible the conditions had become! Awful! This is an aerial view of Tewkesbury, a historic town where two rivers meet. The Abbey is clearly visible, but the town is cut off.

This is Upton upon Severn. We were walking around the river back in January. Lovely place. They were hit with the floods a few weeks back too, but not as bad as this.

Not me yet. Strange that the later repo is getting their unpleasant letters first. Yucky news and I'm not looking forward to forking over more money.

It was indeed one of our crew: amesmom.I know that one of our crew noticed a change on their reservation (was it one of our crew?) If it wasn't one of our crew, could it be that the change in the fee is coming into effect after our cruise?
Dennis, I thought you had cleaning and painting to do? On that mobile internet again?
I get to see you and Angie in December! I am staying at AKV in a value studio, too cool! I want some photo tips, please, when we meet up. You take great shots.
Ps. how is the BP doing these days?
Did anyone else read that the on-line booking is now EST 12:00am and not 3:00 am? WOO HOO! I will test it out next Saturday night, it worked for the 10-20-07 cruisers, so I am hopefull.

Dennis, I think in some people the common meds just make the problem worse. Cruises are good for all ailments, he he.
I will be at WDW 12/6 - 12/9, no sofa surfing. I am managed to get a value studio at AKV, offering a viewing before Dinner at Boma on Friday evening.
P.S. I am on the desktop at home. It is so slow. Between my being slow and the machine being on dialup, I never get much done. I have to trim the new door today. I have the upstairs done, just have to finiish the downstairs. Also have to get some stuff packed. I think we need to pack all of the extraneous 'stuff'. Then we will have room to work. LOL. We 'dumpstered' a Body by Jake, a Treadmill, a Total Gym 2000, and two weight benches last week. They were all in great condition, by nobody wanted them. LOL. Too much work I guess. And, as you can tell, they didn't do me much good. LOL. I got a lot of exercise moving them around.
Good News is, we kept the Gazelle and the Ab Do'er; so we would have something left to move around.![]()

AND, how did I get so tangential here?![]()
Thanks John and Noel....we do the best we can with what we've got.....we make jokes and try to laugh about it too because you can't take life so seriously....you have to remember to have some fun along the way no matter what the situation....kind of like laughing through the tears. I've always referred to my mom as Doris for Doris Day (her name is Diana)....all she ever wanted in life was to be a mother....she likes to shop and cook and feed you and she has always mothered all my friends....a very nurturing soul. When I talk to friends and family, I tell them....I bought a dress for Doris today in her favorite cornflower blue color and I'm going to pick out some lipstick for her to wear and I don't want any eye shadow on her.....etc., after all, she'll be dressed for eternity, so she has to look good....my family thinks I'm nuts, but they always get a good laugh out of it....then we reminice about all the good memories we have and laugh some more.....it helps.![]()
