Hey! I'm here, but it's starting to be dinnertime, so I will be off for a bit--I've been lurking recently--not too much time just to sit here and chat, unfortunately.

Today, I priced two of the three staterooms we have for this cruise. They're now $1200 more. Our cat 4 has "only" gone up $600.

Well I am wide awake at 1.20 am!!! I had a dream that woke me and now I am well and truly awake.

Please join me praying for the safe return of a little 3 year old girl Maddy who was abducted from her hotel bedroom whilst on holiday in Portugal with her parents and 2 year old twin brother and sister one week ago. It has been heartbreaking this week watching the news reports. Tonight the film of her mother showed a gaunt, numb looking woman - so upsetting.

This is on my mind - it is just dreadful.

This has now made the news in Washington DC. I am so sorry for this family...I just don't know about people today.

This week in the school district next to ours (Montgomery Co MD), some 12 year old threw an empty plastic soda bottle out of a school bus window and hit some guys car. The guy stopped the bus and boarded the bus saying he was a plain clothes policeman. (He was a Private Detective and had a badge).

You will not believe this....the bus driver let him remove the kid!! How stupid is that bus driver......this guys could have been a ax murderer.

we're eating late tonight. I have to say === all the smoke created a hazy orange sun and a very weird looking sky. I hate to ruin anyone's trip but we need rain DESPERATELY. There were over 240 fires burning in Florida alone.

The steaks are off the grill, DH did his run, corn on the cob is cooking, and I am DIS'ing and trying to get laundry done. I am feeling the pre vacation jitters.....I am bummed that I didn't book a princess meal this trip......!

Yes I am going to try for Akershus or CRT, I have been very lucky with CRT with the 48 hour cancellation policy! We do have the JoJo breakfast but it's not the princesses......

We did the Jo Jo breakfast and the Arekesh breakfast on our last trip.

I'm CRAZY with ADRs though- we usually have 2, sometimes 3 per day on vacation!

I had to take Sophia halfway to Toledo to visit her aunt - then pizza on the way home. Steaks would have been much better.

We just heard that all of the RED Tape is done with Vanessa (our exchange student) and we can e-mail her and introduce ourselves.

We have been working on this since November.....and now I am NERVOUS!! Am I CRAZY?? How did I ever get myself into this!!

Hi! No dog tonight....or last night either. Not sure what was up with that because I had never heard it before. Maybe it was a houseguest who brought their dog or something. Don't know, but I was about to go insane that night.
