One year from right this minute I'll be having my FIRST dessert on the ship! Oh wait....I'll have had some at lunch...OK, first post dinner dessert!

And I'm betting my face will already be hurting from all the smiling I'd done all day!

Well I am wide awake at 1.20 am!!! I had a dream that woke me and now I am well and truly awake.

Please join me praying for the safe return of a little 3 year old girl Maddy who was abducted from her hotel bedroom whilst on holiday in Portugal with her parents and 2 year old twin brother and sister one week ago. It has been heartbreaking this week watching the news reports. Tonight the film of her mother showed a gaunt, numb looking woman - so upsetting.

This is on my mind - it is just dreadful.

OMG, that's awful! My worst nightmare!!!

Does anyone have any opinions of Biergarten Rest in Germany in Epcot? The parents are heading out tomorrow night without kids and are hitting Epcot to wander the world (and have a few drinks) We are trying to figure out where to eat.

We always enjoy Biergarten for dinner. Our friends husband was selected to be part of the dancing in the show. Very funny!!!

So even with poodle in her, it's still 2 years old when they calm down?! I keep thinking what a great dog ours will be once she's past puppyhood. She's smart and puts up with the kids...and the cat. But she is completely off her rocker!

The rule of thumb I keep hearing is two years to get the puppy out of their system. The poodle just makes her smart!

Wow...you guys are busy chatting away. I don't think there is anyway that I will catch up, so I hope I haven't missed anything major and that everyone is doing well.

I forgot how busy and crazy life is when you are at disney...even when you plan "down days!" We have been having a blast and the weather has held out for us so far.

We hit Epcot yesterday with a great break at the Boardwalk pool. We got there just in time for the poolside games and all the kids had a blast while we adults played 5000 (dice game) and watched. It made a 12 hour day at epcot much more bearable. We got to do Soarin' twice! My favorite ride. Also got to do the new Mexico ride which is much better now!

Today was Animal Kingdom and Jaide did Expedition Everest!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Taylor really wanted to and even with her heely's on, she wasn't tall enough Hit all the rides there and not any of the shows but are friends kids are ride kids and not into shows at all. As a side note...K Safari's have new fast pass machines....the passes are sturdier and longer (apparently they just got put in last week and it was the first ride ever to utilize fast passes-never knew that).

Happy 1 year mark everyone!

Great hearing about all your fun . . . we love shows AND rides, but even if you are not really show people, if you get a chance to see the new Nemo show at AK, it is awesome, and even for people who are not normally into shows, I think they would enjoy it!

I hope you are resting now Marilyn in dreamland. Sorry to hear of the terrible news of Maddy.

I worry so much about my kiddos that I couldn't ever leave them and have a meal out like they did. While on vacation last summer in Europe Paul would go out and grab food to bring back for me while I sat with the kiddos in the hotel sick with chicken pox. I'm the mom that makes her kids stick together in the DCL club to "stay safe". I think this just made me realize that even if Molly is old enough to check in and out of the club during our cruise I'll be hard pressed to put that pressure on her and me. Worry does not sit well on vacation, does it?

Holly get back to your studies....

Wilson came home from school with a flu bug. He's been on the couch throwing up since 3pm. Poor guy, when ever he gets a bug he has such a hard time of it.
