Dr. Hug! Where have you been! I need a man for my cousin just like you. Got any eligible grandsons in the 25-30 range?

Nope, got a son in that age range, but not eligible and Aaron's mommy would be sad if he was. ;)

holly, i feel for you, but thankfully for me, SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!!
Woohoo! Enjoy your summer off! I'm sort of backwards and took spring off. I was just too burned out to wait one more semester. Now I have my 2nd wind and will continue straight through to graduation in a couple years. :thumbsup2

Goodnight all! Magical Disney dreams to all! :goodvibes

NO dog barking here, so a great night sleep for me! Yippee!!!!

We stayed in Tucson for 10 days a few years ago and fell in love with the place! We haven't been back to that area since but it is in our plans for 2008 - perhaps a villa for a week's crash out during our 6 week trip! Trouble was and will be the temperatures going in June both times. They stop you visiting some of the outdoor places, though we managed the Desert Museum which we loved and the Airforce museum. Boy was it hot!!! There are still places we want to visit plus downtown, which we stayed away from because of the heat. I love the area because the heat is a dry heat and more comfortable than high humidity. The surrounding scenery is fantastic too.

Have you considered visiting northern Arizona (that's where I live)? It's much cooler and there's lots to see--Sedona red rocks, Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, Meteor Crater. The elevation is 4000-8000' so it's not the desert w/Saguaro cactus, but it's beautiful in its own way.

We were thinking about going in Feb 2009. Maybe we'll push it back a month. Where do you live, we could stop by and visit with you too.:thumbsup2 :cutie: :thumbsup2

I live in northern AZ--it would be about a 3.5 hr. drive from Tucson, but I'd love to have you "come up and see me sometime"!;)

It is beautiful Cheri. We have stopped off for a walk around Sedona and of course the drive through the canyon(Red Rock? Can't remember the name but the top route out towards Flagstaff). We haven't stayed over though. It is stunning. Also once after leaving the Grand Canyon we went up to the N. Rim and then to Kings and Bryce Canyons, down to Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelle and back to Flagstaff calling in at the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert. We enjoyed it so much. We ended with 5 relaxing days in Scottsdale to recover!

Now I want to do it all over again.

Well, we're off soon for a weekend in the country with friends. Further south so should be a little warmer, but we are in for a wettish weekend I think!!

See you Sunday night. Hope you all have a lovely weekend and a Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers and honorary mothers! Our Mother's Day was in March so I can't celebrate with you.

Bye for now.:)

I've been thinking about it all day. I'd look at my watch and think "What will I be doing now, one year from today?"
Wheeeeeeeee!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
I copied and pasted my 1-yr count post into an e-mail to my fellow cruiser Cindy. Finally, for the first time, she didn't respond with a grumpy grumble about how nuts I am! When I told her I was shocked she didn't complain, she told me the 1-yr mark is a good time to start getting excited and that she'll start counting down now. :goodvibes Glad she's finally getting excited!

V.....almost time to join us at OKW!!!!!! Despite the bad weather reports, it has been great here every day and the rain hits at night. Bring a sweatshirt just in case....but today was hotter than ever at MK!! And the crowds today were horrible there, splash mountain fast pass line was a 40 min wait and standby was 60 min! Oh, and the "love bugs" are everywhere.....

Great hearing about all your fun . . . we love shows AND rides, but even if you are not really show people, if you get a chance to see the new Nemo show at AK, it is awesome, and even for people who are not normally into shows, I think they would enjoy it!

We saw it in December and it was great. I can't get these guys to watch even one show. Think the kids would like Universal better as they are more thrill ride kids!

If you can get an ADR - my vote is Le Cellier . . .

Great wine in Italy, and Champagne in France!

Never been to the Biergarten (I do not really care for German food - esp Kraut!)

We are going to France. Tried for Le Cellier, but not ADR's at all...and rumor has it they don't accept walk ups anymore:sad2: That is going on my list for next trip though. Hopefully we will enjoy dinner at France and get some good champagne at the same time:lmao:

Sat next to a couple heading out on the repo cruise tomorrow. They were pretty excited. I forgot the Magic is leaving tomorrow for the Med. How exciting.

Next year, we will be on our way....or actually dancing around CC!!!!:cool1: :dance3:

Wow! Only about 5 posts since this morning before I left for work. I'm actually sort of glad because I was WAY too busy to check in here. Work was unbelievably busy, but I'm not complaining....it was nice to not be bored all day for a change! Time goes by much quicker that way. Then straight to class. Then off to my favorite bakery to order Tyler's birthday cake. While I was at the bakery, a guy brought out a fresh tray of chocolate covered strawberries to put in the display case. They were the biggest strawberries I've ever seen and one was almost the size of an APPLE! No joking! I asked him what the heck was up with that one and he told me it's on steroids. :rotfl2: Of course, I had to buy it....YUM!!!! Speaking of eating stuff not good for me, TWO people at work today asked me if I'm losing weight! I didn't think so because I'm still wearing the same clothes, but maybe!

Hope you ALL make a speedy recovery.

So.....I noticed a link to a trip report in you signature and went over to read it. I really enjoyed.....what there was of it! :rotfl2: I'd love to hear more about your family adventure. I absolutely could not resist sharing this picture with everyone over here, hope that's OK. Little Miss Olivia and her Minnie Mouse Safari ensemble:

What a precious baby!

Thanks for the reminder!! I'm going to try to work on that again.

Everyone is feeling better now! Woohoo!
I can't believe that this time next year we'll be on the Magic!
