My dad's puppy is female. They named her Matey after my great-grandma, Meta Brandt. She immigrated from Germany. Matey was my great-grandpa's nickname for her. They're having a horrible time training her. They just don't have the energy to keep up with her.
Well, I'm out of here! Worn out from being outside all day, walking around at the zoo. Never picked up our branches in the back yard, but did housework instead. Branches can wait until tomorrow after work and school. Have to do it tomorrow though because I HAVE to mow the back yard tomorrow since it's supposed to rain Tues, Wed, & Thurs. Uggghhh....Still have to find time to douse the backyard with spray to keep bugs away. Worked great last summer. Need to do that before the party (2 weeks from today). Busy times coming up!

It was a great trip (up until she got sick). Molly has spent the day on the couch with a fever.
Our troop won 2nd place prize for swaps and the girls wanted Molly to have it, so one their way home they stopped here and gave her the prize, a stuffed whale. The Theme of the weekend was "Under da Sea" Believe it or not we didn't opted to be Ariels...we were Trout Fishy-Six (troop 56)

Not sure if anybody noticed or remembers (or even cares), but in almost every group of photos I post, there's usually a pic with Tyler holding a blue bear. I keep forgetting to mention....that's Bo. Bo has been around since Tyler's birth. He started grabbing his fur when he was 3 months old. Ever since then, Bo and Tyler have been inseparable. He named him when he was a year old. Nobody has any idea how he came up with that name....I suppose he just thought it sounded good. He wasn't trying to say bear or blue because at that time, bear came out sounding like "bay" and blue was "boo". Strange. Bo is about as flat as a pancake now. I've asked Tyler if he'd like more stuffing put in him so he can actually cuddle with him, but he refuses....says he likes him flat. His tail has been sewn many, many times because that's Tyler's favorite part. He gets washed once a week to try to prevent him from getting too stinky. Just crazy what kids become attached to!
John has webster with him and I have cozy and squishy with me. They come with us everywhere we go. They've been on all of our cruises and they love to play with the animal towels when the beds get turned down. We've got lots of pics of them all playing together...another disk somewhere, I'll have to find them again. Hmmm....
NOW I'm really headed to sleep! This time for sure!

John is not feeling well...he's in the bedroom watching movies and I'm in the living room with the news channel on DISing. I just gave John a nexium. He has an ulcer and it could be acting up. He just had a coke and it made it worse. If the nexium works, then we know it's the ulcer and he needs better meds....
But, they are all wonderful and I have enjoyed seeing them all. Thanks for posting.
