OK.....this is truly the worst picture I've ever seen on my son, so I should NOT post it...but just have to because he's being so goofy, it's a perfect description of how goofy his personality is. On the way to the zoo, he was wearing my ear protection from when I used to work at the airport outside near the planes. It was in the car because he wore it when we went to see the Monster Truck Nationals a while ago. So he decided he didn't want to hear me singing in the car anymore and puts it on, telling me he can't hear me anymore. When a traffic light turned red, I turned around to snap a picture of him. He was too quick for me and pulled it down to cover part of his face. Goofy face AND bad hair day!

Sophia is such a lucky girl! She looks so happy too.....But who wouldn't be happy to have Cookie Monster's arms around them! What a great picture! Tyler would be SO jealous if he saw that one. I love it!

Tyler was pretty amused when this peacock joined us for lunch and was eating crumbs that had fallen under the table from previous guests.

Yeah, and where are the pictures? This seems to be picture night on the DIS. Deb? Where are you? Look what you started and then ran away!

How was the show?

She did really well! After the show, they had "skating with the stars" and wanted the skaters to skate with the public. Savannah got off the ice after the finale and just burst into tears. She said she just wanted to go home. She had been to nervous to eat dinner and then she was so hyped up I think the adreneline just left her little body all at once. It was 10:15 when she finished and she had just had it.

Now she is working on her competitive program... It's fast music! She is so excited! Apparently you can't have fast music until you can skate really fast. Learn something new every day.

John is not feeling well...he's in the bedroom watching movies and I'm in the living room with the news channel on DISing. I just gave John a nexium. He has an ulcer and it could be acting up. He just had a coke and it made it worse. If the nexium works, then we know it's the ulcer and he needs better meds....
