Paintball just sounds painful! Although, you know, with all this 'change of life' nonesense, there are days when I wouldn't mind just shooting something! Oh lord, how many posts ago was the PEACE OUT :hippie: comment?

Paintball should be named Painfulball agreed....can not even remember the peace out comment...must be having an "oldtimers" moment.

It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all

There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to ev'ryone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world

OK, I've added that puppy to my favorites list! Really....I'm just so excited to finally have a computer with SOUND!

Yeah, BOB! I just saw his little brother Jim a couple of months ago. Been to the Highland house many times...Kay and I used to carpool to work. Well, your neice is named after one of the nicest ladies on the planet IMHO! So kind, and the term "Lady" really applies to her.....well, maybe except for that one night I got her drunk on margaritas...but that's a story for another day.

Black Hearted Pearl, you are a true pirate: Congrats on 15,000!!!

.

Thank you, thank you, thank you very much.pirate:

Can't wait to tell sis about my six degrees of seperation experience..

Well you are Generation X!! Typically, people born between 1963 and 1978 are generally considered "Generation X," while others use the term to describe anyone who was in their 20s some time during the 1990s

Kind of like how I think of Boomers being grade schoolers in the 50's-early 60's.

Same here and I had an original Barbie. Worst of all, my Uncle Roy used to give us all comic books that probably would sell for a fortune on EBAY!!

I still have my original Barbie from 1959, and her original bathing suit - the black and white stripped one, and my original Ken with bathing suit and stand.

How do you get it to play the song?

Ignore the "I" before the http and clip and paste the rest of the URL. The website here will not let me past the entire web URL.

I too am 1950. DrHug is Pre Babyboom, 1945

What is interesting is that William Strauss and Neil Howe, in their book Generations, include those conceived by soldiers on leave during the war, putting the generation's birth years at 1943 to 1960.

I have 3 GK's that are coming tomorrow. Aspen is 12, Bailey is 10 and Spencer is 7. I will have to look for some current pics but here are some pics:

Noel....what great looking grandkids. Have a fabulous day with everyone today!

It was such a nice time at the anniverday party last night. They had a suite and at 5pm we all meet in their suite for drinks and snacks......looked out over the Blue Ridge and Sugar Loaf Mountain was right in front....so very beautiful. I was underdressed....most had on gowns and diamonds    , But I have never felt comfortable dressing like that and I think I looked very nice.

Charley (the husband) had on a short sleeve shirt with a tie and no jacket....so at least I was more dressed up than him!!

At 7pm we went for dinner downstairs....lobster bisque, spinach salad, and then you could pick from 4 meals. I had salmon stuffed with scallops (still on my diet, so I am still trying to be careful).....dinner broke up at 11pm and I was exhausted. The entire group went to play pool and play darts (yes in the gowns) except me...I could not stay awake another minute and I had to get up at 3am to do the excursions for the Disney trip!!

My DH came into the room at 1:30am and I got up at 3am...It took me 1 hour to make the reservations and I did not get exactly what I wanted....many things were sold out. I had to reserve 3 staterooms for 6 excursions. I made 3Palo reservations ..... not much at all was left there.

We did not get VIP Pisa, so I may book a private excursion. It is the only one where you get to go up in the Leaning Tower....and my kids really want to do that.

Has anyone climbed the Tower of Pisa.......should this concern me?

Now it is 8:45am and we are usually up at 6am for church....so this is a very nice break for us!! DS17 is taking his sisters to church....and DH and DS17 have a charity golf tournament at 1pm.

Brunch is not till 11 and I am going in search of coffee now..

I really need coffee

Sounds like a wonderful evening (and morning). Sorry you did not get all the excursions you wanted, hopefully everything will work out though! :woohoo:

I have heard many people mention how quickly things are "selling" out on the med cruises....is that the new trend with DCL in general or just the med cruises because everything is so new?

It's a small small world.

LOVE the fact that this was our 15000 post! :woohoo: We are true disney'ites afterall!:lmao: Congrats!

I loved all the posts this am...parties, baby boomer facts, It's a small world music (OK, gotta admit, didn't click on those links. I am sure I will have to go on it at least 3 times next week so I figure it will be in my head enough then!:lmao: )

Hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday. I get to go clean out my "storage" room at my office (oh, hope there aren't any of my "I bought that a long time ago" things in there:rotfl2: ) because a new massage therapist is moving in on Tuesday:woohoo: The 3 we have right now are booked up for 3 weeks! This room is filled with all the stuff I am going to Ebay...yup, it's been sitting there for 3 year!:lmao: Really, I will get around to it!

With the Euro at an all time record high, I am somewhat surprised that the excursions are selling out so quickly. But again, just as you posted this is a new deal for DCL so people are wanting to do more than they might normally do on a "regular" DCL cruise as they may not be getting back to Europe for some time. Just my thoughts...
