Lisa,

How does your son do with the ship? If he is on motion meds anyway, maybe it would not be a problem?

About 30 minutes into dinner the first night he started feeling "funny", so he was on Bonine the rest of the cruise...so yes, perhaps that will solve the motion sickness issue? But to be honest, I almost wouldn't want to take a chance. You know how it is, they say, stay ahead of the motion sickness otherwise once you really get hit with it, you're sick no matter what you do. I'm paranoid because of that.........

...Again, long story, but until our time comes, who really knows. Our experiences have just left us with more questions than answers.
I've never, ever read anything before that gave me chills like I got after reading what you shared! Really amazing!

When I mentioned the Amazing Randi, don't think I mentioned this . . .

A friend and I were really into magic (mentioned that) I think I was still in High School, and did not know what I wanted to do with my life. Anyway, I read up on Randi, and Houdini, and Randi's foiling of the fake psychic Uri Geller. I thought that was really cool, and so did my friend. We decided we would write to Randi and offer to be his apprentices.

We wrote him a letter, telling him after graduation, we would come out to wherever he was, and become his pupils in debunking frauds, doing magic, and generally having a good time. (kind of like running away to join the circus) A few weeks later, I got an envelope from him - it included an autographed picture, personalized, and said "John, STAY in School!" - Randi.

Cool!

I think I can talk Amy into it - PJ, want to tag along again?

Who else?

Last December in Cozumel, we had 24 jeeps!

Sure, why mess with something that works, lol.

Think Sofia might sit with me in the back this time, save Amy from having to climb in the back:guilty: .

All Macbooks and MacBook Pros have wireless built-in - no card needed. 80211-n in the new models. What I had mentioned earlier was no modem in the MaacBooks. I bought the $%*# thing for $44, just in case on this last trip and had no need for it. Most places anymore have either wireless access or ethernet access.

BTW- you can check out everything online at the Apple Store online at www.apple.com, and teachers, students, (and school board members) get discounts at the Apple store too!

John, are you and PJ on commission with apple again?

So who's gonna share?! :rotfl2:

I think I am already Amy and PJ's John . . . if Sophia does not want to go (totally depends on if Savannah, Steve, and Kim go), then we would have an extra seat, for another passenger. We John's like to have a full slate you know . . .

John, are you and PJ on commission with apple again?

PJ - YES, me, I do it for free, out of the goodness of my heart, and because I want my friends to have fun with their computers instead of hating them.

(BUT, if Steve Jobs sends me a check, I will cash it)

unfortunately we don't have any furniture in the house anymore, so I doubt we'd get up there, but never say never.

I'll ask my mom about the crew above and see which ones she knows. I of course know the Stewarts. My mom & dad were good friends with Joan & Wayne. Their daughter Mary is working as our real estate agent.

guilty pleasure...we love Medium in our house. At least DH & I do.

I, like John, would like to believe but have a hard time without the proof. I do believe that those who are passed to reach to us. My dad comes to me in my dreams. I wake up from them feeling so relieved, then so sad at the loss of him all over again.

Easter was great for us. We had a lazy morning here at home. Kids got there baskets and egg hunt inside (more low key than in year past) In the late afternoon we headed to the beach. Had a great time. Hung out, flew kites, read my book. We looked at a house from the outside, and returned today to look at the insides. It was a bust (100 year old house, built like a mobile home/trailer, requiring a tear down and the agent expects multiple offer over ask, heading to 950K or so for a tear down. Not worth it to us) but we also looked at some lovely homes on the wrong side of the highway. More of just waiting for the right one to happen.

Glad Larry is the father, he seems the least wacko of those invovled.

later - N

True, but scary.
