Really! That's too bad about Alex! I used to be gone for hours riding my bike too...went everywhere! I think times are different.

Yes, times are different. I think that is probably one of the biggest reasons why he never learned. I would have never let him be gone for hours like we used to be. Sad.

someone posted there are some cute disney homework pages on mousesomething.com so I was thinking how nice it would be if there was something mouse like, but for the older kids. The pages on this site are for kinder age I think. Hard to find things that are disney like for the older set....

Everyone at my work has been sick the last two weeks. I think I finally got it so I am home sick today hoping it will go away soon.

morning all...I have been in leadership training all morning. We did the Meyers Briggs personality thing, it's interesting to see what everyone is compared to what they think they are. I have a conferance at Samantha's school (regulary scheduled) and then I am off to our hospital owned gym to meet with the folks there and try and straighten out their finances....fun stuff!

Did you guys see that airline skybus? They are offering 10.00 flights from Columbus, Ohio to FLL lucky them. They go to a lot of little airports. They are flying from Columbus to Burbank, CA for 10.00 also. I was thinking why not do Burbank to Ohio to FLL and then drive wherever. It would only be 80.00 each way for my family. John you should check it out. I am sure you already know about them though.

Thanks, and yes I am. Mostly, because I think it is cool she can do something better than DH and I ever could. I think it's more impressive when your skill level is well, lets just say, low.

Love the Meyers Briggs, we do that all the time just as a funny about how are jobs don't match our personalities....

Um but hospital Gym and Finances don't go well together, I hope thats more fun than you think!

my word...sometimes I truly wonder how some people can function. I spent the afternoon trying to make these folks realize the importance of daily deposits, closing out your credit card machine and reporting back to us the totals....they still don't get that I am here to provide analysis of their financials, get there ledger together...they seem to think I do everything else as well! Interestingly enough, the gal in question worked for MTV for over 10 years in Miami (Latin America MTV), she has some really cool stories and moved up here to be close to her DH's parents.


My projct for tonight...I am making Samantha some "pirate" shoes. I bought some red hightops and so far have painted a white skull with two black swords underneath on one shoe...pretty cool looking. And yes, I got the idea from Ebay where they are selling for $39 on up....!

Oh my, I'm not sure what to think. Wow, a teacher on board the ship. Now I have a way to convince the school it could be educational. Downside, I wouldn't want my friend to be 'teaching' during her cruise.

With the new schdedule for next year, the kids will only have 1 day left of school when we get back. I wasn't planning on telling the schools about the trip until February 08. Personally, I see a couple of narrative essays being sent back via email to meet class requirements and maybe a lesson in budgeting for math.

I'm still trying to figure out a way to go to the El Capitan Opening Weekend for POTC III. Now if only I learned how to time travel.
