I need to feed my neglected children, so I'm off. Everyone be vigilant for the big 10,000. You know they're out there.

I forget which thread I have posted what on...I'm old like Holly's boss....but, I am having a near perfect day. We are on the Oregon coast (Lincoln City) in our new motorhome. DrHug is working over here of 3 days so I took the time off work and came with him. I have done crossword puzzles and listened to my IPod today. :goodvibes I planned on reading, but found I could not listen to the IPod and read, but I can listen and do crosswords! I just had a Corona! It is, of course, raining so no walks for me today, now that would be perfect. I think we will go to the casino tonight and make a small donation. Tomorrow I will take DrHug to work so I can have the car and go prowl around the outlet mall. There is a Coldwater Creek outlet store there....my favorite store! :thumbsup2

DH said "OK" for dressing up....so now I am watching the platforms and the afro's on Ebay.....guess I will need something for me....what is 70's style for the gals? Bell bottoms....and platforms? The 60's were the bra burning years right?

Early 70's - hot pants and go-go boots
Later 70's - bell bottoms and platforms

So far six, not enough for a private room:

lwilliam
Granmaz
birkner
mom323
nskjerven
EllaEnchanted

Again, if I have misses anyone....let me or Noel know. Thanks!
:flower3:

If those are husbands and wives then you have 12, the min. for the private room, if open for Tea.

:offtopic: I just reserved my copy of the next (final :sad1: ) Harry Potter book. I got to choose one of two stickers: "Trust Snape" or "Snape is a very bad man." I chose "Trust Snape." Where do the rest of the Harry Potter fans stand on the Snape issue? Inquiring minds want to know.

I know return you to your Palo tea discussion.

I don't trust him, but I think I will be proved wrong. My reason .... he has be denied too many goals that he has wanted in the past. I think he is ready to burst.

Wow, this sounds perfect to me, especially the Coldwater Creek Outlook store.

I on the other hand got to sit around waiting for the phone guy to install my new business line. And then he had to come inside to do something with the phone jack. When he bent over I had to leave the room to keep from laughing. I think you get the picture! :rolleyes1

I love the Oregon coast. We try to get to Seaside at least once a year. There is the BEST clam chowder there, I can't remember the name of the restaurant though. And the outlet malls, love them...and love the no tax either :) Enjoy and don't donate too much :lmao:

Kind of :offtopic: I plan on searching the DIS later tonight, but thought I would ask our great group first....
anyone used any of the babysitting services while at WDW to go out for some fun (:drinking1 ;) ) and alone adult time?

I used Fairy Godmother's in 05 (and had great results), but don't see much about them anymore. What about Kid's Nite Out or the clubs in the hotels? Our friends will be there the first week of our trip and we want to take them to PI for a night while the 4 kids stay back at OKW.

Any advice or tips or experiences to note?
Thanks

I have used the Peter Pan Club at the Poly with my niece in 2001 and she loved it. Had a great time, dinner and got to make a whole bunch of craft projects. They had them "fly" through the window into the club, it was very cute.

:lmao: :lmao: Got a clear picture of that! :rotfl: :lmao:

what movie did Dumbiledore (butchered spelling) die in?

do any of you dress up for theme nights? (80's, 70's, etc)......I think I would like to this trip...mainly because I found some men's platform leopard print shoes on Ebay and I'd love to see if I could actually get DH to wear them. He's fine with the pirate costume...

also, anyone know what kind of other theme nights they have?

Hey you got him into a very cool pirate costume last cruise, I think you could get him in the platforms :hippie: , lol

So, we have five pages to go, eh? And the Captain is not on line, woo hoo.

:purple-ish bodice with pinkish blueish skirt. I think marketing is trying to please everyone. I'll take purpleish lavender over blue or pink! :3dglasses

Sounds pretty...I'll admit, DD likes Aurora in blue, too...but, pink is still her favorite. She'd like purple or lavender, too.

There are so many animal lovers on this thread that I thought I'd tell you what I've found. I've had the hardest time finding info on the recalled pet food. At first they said it was store brands and then I found out it included brands like Nutro (which is what we feed our cats). Anyway, here's a link to the info on the recalled pet food. Very scary stuff because they can't find out exactly what is in the stuff that is killing the animals.
