Actually - we love the Halloween party more...but that has to do with the fact DD Samantha is born on Halloween!!!
I love the holiday decorations as well....it's such a hard choice. I spoke with my Grandma last night and she was talking about how much she is looking forward to WDW at Xmas.....not sure who she is going with.....

Bring her with you, V. We would love to meet your sweet grandma.

I can't tell you how many times I changed my major in college...there are so many things that are just very interesting to me. I started as a dance major...(went to a performing arts high school) had I gone to FSU, I would bet I would be just as poor as I am now but dancing somewhere....anthropology was another wonderful semester....but it seems everything I love and have any interest in just seems to be on the low end of the money scale. Retail, I love working in retail and really I am pretty good at it...I had a small stint at Publix, my task was to dress up and sell fruit cakes. I sold my whole table in an hour, the bakery people did not know what to do...but that was back in my hotness days. Now I would have to offer a free shot or something!! But retail hours are a killer....

Working at a law firm is actually a very good idea. We have a lot of lawyers in my family, so I had a good idea of what I was getting into, but it's a good experience to try it out before law school. I worked in a law firm during my last two years of law school, so I was able to graduate with a lot of experience (which is a lot more valuable IMHO than what you learn in school alone).

I am not a practicing attorney - although I passed the bar and am licensed. I personally believe that lawyers should have to do internships like doctors. Law school teaches you how to "think" like a lawyer, which is extremely valuable, but it does not teach you how to "be" a lawyer. IMHO!

I'm a system admin for the Navy (though I'm a contractor not a civilian).

DH is an archaeologist for the Navy (he is a civilian). And luckily we work at the same place so we carpool and have lunch together.

I read this post to my DH who wanted me to ask what is a Naval archaeologist?

I have had a hersey's special dark bar with almonds. How sad, I need normal food.

Alex and I drove to Cleveland to a favorite Chinese restaurant - Stir Crazy. Sophia did not want to go, so we brought Amy food back.

Alex being a good boy is fasting for Lent, and wanted good vegetarian Chinese food.

I don't know if the schedule is out yet for MVMCP . . . yes it is an extra charge, but worth it IMHO. It is not offered EVERY night. We will be there Thurs-Sun, staying at Beach Club Villas. We were originally going to be on that Saturday's Magic Cruise until we booked this cruise and cancelled that one, so we decided to still go to meet up with our Geek friends who are still on that cruise before the cruise.

Ok, I give what on earth is a manager for late stage collections.

The people who Amy manages are collectors, who are the people who hound those who do not pay their bills and try to get them to pay. Late stage is when they have not made a payment for I think 3+ billing cycles.

I know it sounds funny but trust me he stays on land. Basically he does archaeology for the naval and marine bases in Southern Californa and Arizona (Yuma, El Centro, Seal Beach, etc.).

We work in Downtown San Diego - right by the port. So we get to see all the cruise ships every day.

Traffic out of Santee on the 52 is bad every day!! Luckily since we head South on the 125 to the 94 it's not as bad. Still not great though.

I am FINALLY caught up.

More and more this group is starting to remind me of some of the great friends we made last December. We are also picking up the pace here, and if I had my mathematics Geek from our December cruise, she could verify my theory - I'm too lazy to do the math!
