Covering my ears now and humming - don't think this is my conversation . . .

Well, I need to throw laundry in the dryer and get to bed. I guess I should get some sleep.

Good night all!

Enjoyed your conversation and all the photos today!

Have a great Wednesday (Hump Day)!
Are you trying to open a new can of worms? :rotfl2: Sorry. I'll behave now.

Goodnight John!

Thanks..I'll keep them tonight (they are not fighting!!). Only Daniel will be with me on this cruise.

I was thinking, you know how 20% of the people do 80% of the work at school, church, community....etc. I bet all of us in this group fall into that 20% who care about the world around us! And, we are all so proud of our families!!:goodvibes :) :goodvibes :) :goodvibes :)

One more comment Lisa, and then I am off to bed. I saw this after I posted my goodbye . . . I have found this to be true of most of my DIS friends. Somehow most of us do all this, and still find time to keep up with friends here.

Tonight I took the dog for a walk, and during the walk my phone rings, a parent upset about something going on in the school district. So, I had to call the Superintendent, there I am huffing and puffing (out of shape from winter) and my whole 2 miles was trying to solve a problem. Not blowing my own horn here, just an example of what I bet all of you do every day, and then find time to DIS and keep up with friends here.

And Holly, I am NOT opening up that can of worms. I bet you gals could open it up quite nicely without little old me.

It depends how well behaved it is and how attatched to it you get.:rotfl:
:rotfl2: Not attached. In fact, there's a much older guy at work who I've had the hots for since I've been there (just over 2 years) and I might be having a couple drinks with him Thursday after dinner with the girls! Too many years older than me, but there's something about his eyes when he smiles that just makes me weak in the knees. And he's such a nice guy too. Now that my confidence has been boosted, I'll see if I can gain his interest!

Goodnight everybody! Can't keep my eyes open any more!

Buenas noches!

I have no comment. That may be fun though.

Ok I haven't finished reading yet but

On our last cuise we had a excel spreadsheet (I still have it) and it worked very well. We posted in on our website too.

We have a Wii, I stood in line for 12 hours the night they were realeased. It was a christmas surprise for DH. We love it. I really like the Happy Feet Game. I make sure to rent the\ game before I buy it better to waste 6.99 on a bad game than $60.

I have no comment. That may be fun though.
This semester I took off school is giving me WAY too much time to get myself into trouble! Thank goodness registration for classes for next term is next week. I need to get back to reality!

I'm not a fireman though . . .

Wasn't the weather AWESOME today! We got some of that California sunshine, and over 70 degrees! I took the dog for a 2 mile walk tonight!

We have even had a couple of days of sunshine in Oregon!!

Ahhh, Firemen as entertainment... Works for me!!!:cool1:

Karen

So what number can we men call for entertainment?

(don't give me one of those 888 numbers, I mean free entertainment!)

We will be at Vero Beach that night (March 23) - will have to watch. How do you vote?

Boy, the boards are slooooooow tonight too!

Do any of you have HD TV? We just got it about a month ago, and I have to say, Discovery HD is worth the price of the TV! They showed some images from a new show coming March 25th called Planet Earth that were simply STUNNING. I really don't watch much other than sports and documentaries (and sci-fi) on TV, but I could watch that Discovery HD all day.
John,

Couldn't get back on the boards until now. They were "closed for updating".

Anyhoo, we have HD and it's a love-hate relationship for me. It is a great picture, but the sound drives me nuts!! It's overly loud during the music and effects part of the program, then too soft to hear the voice parts of the show. My DH LOVES it, and I can't stand the sound! :crazy2: Oh well, typically husband/wife thang'

Karen

Gee, the one night I have TONS of time (Tyler was asleep by 6:30--stomach ache), and nobody here wants to play! :upsidedow Well, I suppose I should go to sleep anyway. Busy day ahead of me at work tomorrow. The main lawyer I work for will be out of town Wed. & Thurs., so I'll be playing catch-up and organizing his files so we can find things again (he just throws files all over the floor in big piles. :headache: ) AND lots of playing after work the next 3 days when Tyler's at his dad's. :rolleyes1

GOODNIGHT!!

Yup, lot's of LIVE, LIVE, LIVE going on!!!:rotfl2:

Vivacioulsy through you, yup... that's the ticket...

"My Kids - Daniel 17, Annie 13 and Gretchen 10"

Wow!! Very good looking kids!!:thumbsup2

Your DD and mine could be related, just a year apart!! :cutie:

Karen

:lmao: I feel like a silly schoolgirl, but it sure is fun! However, I doubt I'll keep him around long. He called me THREE times today after work. That's not cool. Since I lose 3 days with Tyler every week, the days he's with me are all about the two of us spending time together. He can wait until tomorrow to call me. Silly boy.

He just needs a bit of training... ;) That's what the May/December thang' is all about!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Karen

Story of my life . . . "you're not a (fill in the blank - fireman in this case) but still fun!"

Ah well, not all of us are destined to be firemen or Miss Utah . . .:rotfl2:

Hope your aspirations are towards one and not the other... John!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Karen

:rotfl2: Well, if a puppy follows you home, aren't you supposed to keep it? :rotfl:

Only if it is trainable, behaves, doesn't bite (too hard!), and doesn't pee on the rug!! Oh, and it helps if it is really cute, cuddley, and does whatever you ask!!!:rotfl2:

Karen, living vivaciously through Holly...:thumbsup2

Yup, I can see my DH saying "I'll just throw some laundry in the dryer...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Good night all!

Enjoyed your conversation and all the photos today!

Have a great Wednesday (Hump Day)!

And what, pray tell, do you mean by that with this conversation!!! (I know, I know, innocently said, right?) ;)

Karen

Just a reminder, I have 3 rooms booked at various properties for the May DL meet if someone needs a room.

That's OK, ibouncetoo offered me to share with her...it'll be the next best thing to the Grand!;)

No, but I'd love to! I find myself lingering around the TVs in Costco, dreaming of the day...

Beautiful kids!

I am afraid to try brain age . . . will I find out how old my brain is? Will it be in dog years?

WOOF!:rotfl:

Are you trying to open a new can of worms? :rotfl2: Sorry. I'll behave now.

Goodnight John!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that remark!:) :dance3:

Well, I'm going to have to call it a night...meeting with the accountant tomorrow morning. Hope I get better news than last year--I had to pay for the first time in my life!
'Night everyone!:goodvibes

Good morning from over here. These boards are nice and speedy this morning, much better.

I can help with that, Marilyn! :thumbsup2

I have all the goodies that you need and you will have even more on the ship with the Scrapbooking event!!

I would to learn, but I am very artistically challenged!

Karen

Lovely family!:)

We have even had a couple of days of sunshine in Oregon!!

A rare event I gather?? Enjoy.:dance3:

Good morning, Marilyn!!

You don't have to be creative to scrapbook, I just pilfer/copy everything and use all of the matching stuff!! No worries!! :thumbsup2

Have had a rough day, many worries... I'll be heading off to bed soon!

I hope that you have a lovely day!:hippie:
