Let me complicate this for you. You can only book for Palo the adults on your ressie, or ressies that are linked to yours. So, to book for 4 ladies, you would need to link your ressies, which certainly can be done. BUT, and here is the complication....linked ressies get assigned dinner together so you would need to make sure that the 4 linked have the same early/late rotation AND want to share the evening meals together. Some folks prefer to sit with just their family. So, I am not involved in the tea thing but just wanted to share some of my experiences.

It's beginning to look like everyone wants to go their own way....it will certainly be much easier that way. I don't like complicating things.....I'd much rather keep it simple.....so that's what we're probably do.

Yes, I agree. It is a shame though, we would have had a lot more fun doing it together.....but oh well, if they can't accommodate us then I guess we just can't do it.

I like what everyone has said about the skycaps....will have to remember that.

I don't have much of a clue at all as to what I'm going to take. I have something for Tropical night (if I lose a bit more weight); some thing for Formal night (1 if I don't lose much, 1 if I do lose more), bathing suits, 2 cameras, and shorts (but not sure how many). I'll deal with that as we get closer and hopefully thinner

I think you have it all wrong, we need 2 sets of formal night clothes...One to wear at the beginning of the cruise and one to wear as we waddle off the ship at the end.

Seriously, for those of you who have done this before, how do you pack for 15 days??? I presume, re-wearing of outfits and is a requirement...

Good Morning

My son forgot give me the letter from his school.

I opened it and and it said that kids are not allowing to leave for May's holiday!!

I phoned the head teacher this morning and she explained that it is from Scottish Executive states taht permission for family holidays in term time can only be granted.

In the letter mention:

1. where the family holiday is important to the wellbeing and cohesion of the family, following Serious or terminal illness, bereavement or other traumatic events.

2. Where evidence is provided by an employer that leave cannot be accommodated during school Holidays without significatn conseqences.

As the holiday falls during term time, and as your request does not comply with these circumastances, it is not possible to approve the leave.

My husband is leaving his job in March and start new job with two self employer as they are his friend, they set up a new business last year and they were so busy and don't have time off for their holiday.

Head teacher advise me to ask new job to write and explain that my husband cannot get off in Summer holiday because he is working through the summer to give two friend to have their holiday.

Oh dear why it never smooth problem. No way we cancel our holiday!! As everything had been paid for.

So I will tell my husband to see his friend and write a letter to head teacher about new job.

I feel a bit upset this morning.

But I hope it is sort out soon.

I wonder about your kids, are they allowing off school in USA?

Has someone on this thread already started the process for lanyards?

I am the one who posted the green one - and had offered to work on them but I know several others also said they would do it too - so I am not sure - I think maybe we need to PM each other and maybe work together - someone to keep up with who has ordered, money, passing them out, delivery, etc. Lanyards are a BIG job and we can work together to make it easier.

We may need to do a poll to decide the color, wording, etc.

Send me a PM - I would be glad to work on it but don't want to mess up anything already in progress.

My DCL house party package was never sent and they had the wrong address!!!
