It is amazing how much the kids grew in just a year!

Have we made arrangements for a party the night before the cruise?

Is it too late to sign up for this? I'd love to do this tea?

An ever growing group is going to Grills the nights before. Where are you staying? I think a lot of us going to Grills are at the Radisson or Country Inn & Suites.

Lisa I see you are on tonight. I hope you are feeling even better tonight. I loved laying around in bed this morning.....but the vacation is over as 2 of the three girls are back from skiiing

I am thanks. Spent another day laying around. Heck I slept until 10 am this morning but I slept a lot better than the I did the last few.

these three are a hoot. John and the girls are each making a picture, they are now arguing over crayons.....

I keep forgetting to post - the place to color in DL is Big Thunder Ranch!

That would be me...it bums me out sometimes. Just recently DH starting seeing some gains (he's 41...it's about time) but nothing drastic. So he tells me this morning that my diet is having a positive effect on him--he lost 5 lbs! SO NOT FAIR!!!! He's just doing it half the time!!! Such is life!

Sounds like my dad - he can just think about losing weight and he does. Where as I can think about a piece of cake and gain weight! How unfair is that!

Sleep study went well last night....actually slept about 5 hrs.

Mask was weird - that would definately take getting used to.

I will get the results from last night on Thursday, then if they decide they want me on the machine I was told that it takes about 1 month to get it (after the fitting, etc). We'll see. I got woken up at 530a (ugh) and was on the road by 545a....went back to sleep for a while after I got home.

I am now DISing and watching the news....so far doing nothing like I had planned to do, and having a hard time getting motivated to do it. I need to go take my car in for the oil change stuff, get my tires checked, go talk to someone about selling my timeshare (Sheraton's Vistana Resort if anyone is interested :lmao: ), go to Walmart, do laundry, clean the house...boy, I'm tired just typing all that! Will need to get going soon though.

Hope everyone's Saturday is starting out well (we know it is for Lisa! :goodvibes )

We are also selling some of our DVC points. We got overzelous and have 3 sets!!!:rolleyes1

If anyone is interested PM me.

I hope I can say that on here...:confused3

does anyone think that once they start to assign rooms that they will also start to change any requests for Dining? I would like late dining and I've called to request it...

Just wondering...

How sweet! Have a great time! At least you do have your friend with you to help out. :goodvibes
Thanks! It was so funny- I met her in Benicia, which is on the way to Tahoe. She had a friend that lives there. It took us about an hour to get our of the town! First, we couldn't figure out how to get out the car seats in my car (5 kids, big car seats). Then my eldest son lost the key to the luggage thing on the roof (who knows HOW I'm going to pack that back up). Found the key, but discovered the tire was low. Went to the gas station but then the kids saw Burger King. An hour later, we are leaving our starting point...but we made it! Tomorrow, we will venture play in the snow.

I'm going to try to catch up but boy you all have been busy! I don't know if I can stay awake to read all the pages!! Lisa

That would be Tyler! My dad has one of the kinds you pull behind your truck...forgive my lack of knowledge of the terminology, and that's what got Tyler hooked. It's quite large, but Tyler insists that we need what he calls "a driving camper"! :lmao: The reason he likes these shows is that he thinks he's picking out the one he's convinced I'm going to buy for us! :rotfl2: It's so funny! He's very particular about what he wants and knows the minute we step in one if it's right or not. I keep telling him there are many problems with this idea. 1) I don't camp. 2) I can't drive something that large. 3) We'd have to PAY to store it somewhere when not using it. 4) I can't afford to take enough time off work to use one. 5) I can't afford to BUY one! There are many other reasons too, but I just can't think right now. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:lmao: :rotfl: Someday he will have his house to drive!

Ok V...

Listen....

I'm reading your last cruise TR... (2nd time, I think...you all look familiar...)

but I've got this issue...

It's about GG and the Hat...

You should have given her yours!!!

& then insist you get it back many many years from now in her will!!! ;)

I'd have done that, but with MY luck, my sister would have gotten it...

(I'm going back to read...)

Just wondering...

There is only one person that deals with the dining. :scared: She will not start making adjustments until a week or two prior to sail, since she is already working on 3 cruises per week. I found this out when I kept checking for our Dec 2007 cruise. We were linked with my mom, sis, neice, etc and all were early except 2 groups. I contacted our TA and niece contacted her TA multiple times, each time being told it would be taken care of don't worry. So, about 3 weeks out I called DCL dining and that is when I was told one person, not to worry she had our request and would fix it when she started working on our cruise. She did, it was fine! :thumbsup2

V....

I'm copying and pasting this from your TR so you remember what your goal is first day... and then I'm going to keep tapping you on the shoulder that day and repeating it to you and hopefully you won't throw anything at me!!!

I will get to the port when I get there, boarding, grabbing a drink and finding a comfy deck chair. I will not worry about pleasing anyone other than myself and maybe my immediate family…(now, that sounds terribly selfish and mean doesn’t it?)

um... no

Hi Marreazza......I made my final payment this past Wed. and it just cleared my bank account today.....so I would say 3-4 days is safe.

Hope you got a lot of nice things shopping! Do you know what excursions you're doing yet? Me and John are ready to book ours....just waiting for the timing thing.

Ok I think I will give the payment on the 1st then to be safe. While I have been shopping I am always looking for things for the cruise. I was out at the outlets and I bought some long sleeve button up dress shirts for my son at the Gap outlet. They were on sale for $12 each. They also had short sleeve polo shirts 2/$25. They were very nice too. I picked up a few of those for my son as well. Then I hit the Coach outlet which is my weakness......needless to say I picked up a ton of things I didn't really need but bought anyway. My daughter bought herself a Coach ipod holder for $5. She is so funny she saves up her allowance and buys coach things. She bought a Coach bag the other day to hold her laptop and she is very proud of it. Too funny to see her. She likes being like mommy. :lovestruc

v's tip of the day - how to get your house smelling great.....

purchase air diffuser.....
set said air diffuser up in a central location....

proceed to knock off said air diffuser onto the floor, smashing the glass container all over the floor leaking the heavily scented oil also all over the floor.....

let dog track through the spilled oil and run throughout the house and small child on riding vehicle do the same.

Oh noo! was it a Bath and Body Works one? I dropped one of those once and it broke and spilled all over the tile. I hope you got it all cleaned up and off the floor.

Silly suggestion here...

Since we are all fessing up to the fact that we all have traveling buddies... Come on... fess up....

Wouldn't it be hysterical to take a picture with everyone's buddies right after we take a picture of all the Disers???

Yeah, I know... I'm nuts...

Oh my gosh I am all over this idea! LOL

Somehow I think Bobby  is going to be in the middle of the picture...

 The scented oils didn't ruin anything did they?

oh I know what you mean....diets and V DO NOT MIX!! I love food! Especially carbs and everything that is bad for you.

That's me too!

I baked a turkey today. With stuffing, gravy, candied yams, cheesey veggies, and fresh baked rolls. It was DGS 5th birthday dinner with his mom and us. We also had ice cream cake. I am stuffed and I have a mess to clean up! I did the yams a bit different. I got some carmel sauce (instead of my usual brown sugar) and melted it with some butter then poured that over the yams, sprinkled them with pecans and them baked them awhile. They were very yummy.

That sounds wonderful Angie.

Men! They seem to be alble to lose so easily when they set their minds to it.:sad2: When I went to WW the instructor said it is because they have more muscle to burn up the calories. They could have so many more points too with WW - not fair.

What are everyone's plans for sunday?

Mom and I are heading to Williams-Sonoma for a cooking demonstration/class (free is for me) and then we will have lunch at Johnny Rocket's or Red Robin and then we are hitting the Mall. I have to return some items that I bought during their sale last week online (cruise wear) so out of 11 pairs of pants/capris/crops I ended up with 7 pair that fit  Some will get made into Capri's from Crops, or Capri's from Pants but since most didn't cost more then $11 its not that bad a deal!

Then its onto Cabela's (does anyone else have one near by) I am going to bring my Camera and ask them if its ok i take photos (i always ask afraid of copyright infringement) if i get any i'll post them here for all to see!

 I have Sun/Mon off so I am glad its my weekend!

--Lisa/lbgraves-- what does WM mean? (abbreviation meaning challenged)

We get a Cabela's catalog... not sure if it is the same.

Sounds like a great Sunday!

We are going over to our friends and neighbors house for Sunday Football stuff!
