We're in, just let me know what ya need. Kinda sounds like a Flat Stanley without the Stanley??? I have a few local (san jose) cards in hand from our scout troop. We do an annual postcard project, just this year we made the last of our 50 states :goodvibes

That's what it is. Thanks so much!

I also read on Cruise Critic from people who've taken this tour that if you're prone to motion sickness, then it's even worse on the sub, so that sorta sealed the deal for us, because my oldest does get seasick. He's fine on the ship for the most part, but I hate to put him on something that would do him in. So I'm just not sure what we'll do!

Thanks, I will go to cruise critic and read too. I get motion sickness watching the carousel, thats why we arn't doing the jeeps with the disers (and DH doesn't want to drive).

quit touching me, I'm not touching you, stop it, MOMMMMMMMMMMM....Oh the wonder years. When will they end. Just kidding. I know this time is so sweet and gone so fast. I'm just sucking the marrow from them now while they are here. Hence the reason for this cruise.

Bad news, Paul just lost a big client. They hired an in house GC. It's not really a suprise, but a pisser none the less. Small company Paul has worked for them for 3 years, negogiated all contracts (150+) to signature close and since the last quarter when they brought in a new CEO he has been walking on eggshells over this. It just sucks sometimes to work with companies when they are small and they need your flexiblity (that means our payments not always timely in the lean cash times for them) and now that they are bigger they boot you out. Paul is having lunch with the old CEO (now chairman) tomorrow, but the deal is done, so not much to say but sorry :confused3 your screwed.

Vent over. Time to figure out where to get some more billing for my DH....Fortunately he just got 2 new clients yesterday but they are small one shot deals, not monthly contract review like the other one. Oh well...

Sorry to hear about Paul's situation above.

fess up Gydell, you are just worried that your suitcases won't have a lifeboat and you aren't offering anymore out to anyone :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: come on now you guys can't have THAT many shoes do you?????:lmao: :lmao:

:lmao:

Forgot about suitcases. I mIght need another lifeboat!

How many lifeboats are there? I think there are more folk in lifeboats that cabins at the moment.

Kayla's appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon was rather uneventful. He looked at the xrays and said "And why are you here?". Actually, this was the best question we have heard in awhile. Great news. We had been worried all week about her having to go through surgery. Lost time and costs can't be recovered, but the peace of mind is wonderful. Her arm has healed perfectly.

Great news.:thumbsup2

Ok, my dgs has a shool project that I could use help from some of you. They are studying maps and have a gingerbread man that has run away. His teacher would like people from all over to send in postcards saying that they saw him near their house. They will then locate and post where he was seen. If anybody is willing to send a postcard please let me know and I will pm you the address. They need the name of the city and state or country.

I would be happy to send one, but he may not receive it in time. If I put the card in an envelope rumour has it that they go quicker.:confused3

Nan...hope it all works out with Paul and some great new clients!

Nan - sorry to hear about DH's client. The way things are closing up here has me a bit worried!

Kaylee, I would book Palo first - unless there is some exclusive excursion or spa treatment you want.

What night is everyone doing Palo? and brunch?
Usually we have a DIS coordinator who can tell us our rotation and what not!

I have no idea when we are doing everything...I think I was thinking of booking both sometime on the Mexico side of things but I can't remember.

my sister did the one at Discovery Cove and loved it!!!

Scott and I did Discovery Cove in '03 and we loved it! The swimming with the dolphin part was great and all but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the rest of the park and the day overall....until those sting rays got close to me :scared1: then I screetched and ran out of the water with many people laughing at me!

I thought we were sharing a lifeboat!

A letter would be fine if you don't mind.

Gydell go ahead and PM me as well, I can send out a post card.

We are sharing a lifeboat - did you think I was moving out to a empty one!:lmao: That would be too boring all on my own - though I would have room for shoes.:rotfl:

I meant that I could put the postcard in an envelope. Much more interesting than a letter!

Well it is after 1.30 in the morning. What am I doing here? I went to bed and fell asleep then woke up straight away and that was it. Too much going on in my mind. All the planning and all I have to do for this cruise is getting to me, and I am on to planning our December vacation now! Oh the worry!:lmao:

Think how busy the next 3 weeks are going to be planing this cruise!

All I know is I have to get a picture of bobby and taylor together for her scrapbook.

So I have some goals for this cruise....I plan to make all the parties! I didn't get up to the sailaway...at dinner too later. Missed Pirate night...was sick and missed the midnight buffet...just plain old tired.

Also, anyone out there like to go to the adult bar after 10pm. They have games and music. I like going down there..I won a couple games last time (hint..i'm a good partner). I need company, just can't go on my own. So if anyone is a late bird like me, just let me know.
My dd loves to hang in kids club until midnight, so it's all good.

Night All..
Steph
Steph I'm a night owl too and my mom's not so I'm always looking for someone to hang out with!

My family and I will be going on the repo w/ all of you this May. I'm so excited....We actually were on the 1st Westbound repo in 05 so I know this one is going to be alot of fun. My family consists of myself(30)DH Todd (32) DS Jacob(8 B-day on 5/15) and DD Alyssa(5). Do you guys have any group excursions planned? :)

-Serena

I just read on the eastern crossing where someone with a gty room got an upgrade.... I looked and I haven't even been assigned yet and I am on this one (May.. Western Crossing)...

Has anyone with a gty gotten room numbers yet?

We were originally GTY, but were assigned a few months ago. Several here are still GTY.
