It took Wil a while to get interested, but he is mid #4 so far this school year. I tried to encourge him with a bribe to finish them this school year, but it backfired on me. He just got mad a me for suggesting it and trying to "push him" I think he will be able to do it anyways, so I'm trying to thing of a nice reward. Pretty proud of my 2nd grader reading HP

We got hooked on Harry Potter when DD was in 2nd grade.

She told her teacher that we read it together and that I do all of the voices, so... her teacher asked me to read the first book to the class with ALL of the voices and it was a lot of fun! I came by 3 times a week and the kids really got into it. I heard from several of the parents that their kids continued with the other books because they were so interested in continuing the story!!

I asked everyone at dinner what they wanted to do for tours and Molly requested....the Dolphins. I told her I didn't think we'd do it again, it was ~$1K for it the last time we did it in St Maarten. Paul wispered...you 2 can do it. that was a nice treat I really didn't expect it, but WE'RE SWIMING WITH THE DOLPHINS IN CABO!!!!!! There was interest in the PV Priate excursion. I plan on stalking Gydell in Aca to see the cliff divers and get some good food and drinks ...just Aruba left to figure out. Paul said he might like the jeeps is there any room left for a party of 4 in the jeeps????

I like the idea of stalking Gydell too!!!! She knows the score!!

My family and I will be going on the repo w/ all of you this May. I'm so excited....We actually were on the 1st Westbound repo in 05 so I know this one is going to be alot of fun. My family consists of myself(30)DH Todd (32) DS Jacob(8 B-day on 5/15) and DD Alyssa(5). Do you guys have any group excursions planned?

All I know is I have to get a picture of bobby and taylor together for her scrapbook.

So I have some goals for this cruise....I plan to make all the parties! I didn't get up to the sailaway...at dinner too later. Missed Pirate night...was sick and missed the midnight buffet...just plain old tired.

Also, anyone out there like to go to the adult bar after 10pm. They have games and music. I like going down there..I won a couple games last time (hint..i'm a good partner). I need company, just can't go on my own. So if anyone is a late bird like me, just let me know.
My dd loves to hang in kids club until midnight, so it's all good.

I have a question for those of you who plan to send a box ahead. What size are you planning on using? I was just reading on the main board where Shirley (of the PerfectGift) was saying that the company we would ship to has a size and weight limit. The size box is 12x12x6. Is it me or does this seem very small. I would need to send multiple boxes. Weight limit is 20 lbs per box, which makes is not a problem.

The boxes I shipped in November wher 19x14x16. I know the size, because it is my 12 bottle wine shipper!!

No problem with our box of pirate stuff and Fish extender goodies, but we were the last week that they allowed wine to be shipped to the ship

I was just telling Wilson about your boys. I couldn't remember if you had a son the same age, but they are. Wil is in 2nd grade, he will be 8 in Feb. I hope we can get them to meet before cruise.

Are you up for a meet in the Spring up north, Karen mentioned a park.

Let me know when you all might connect. My DD Jacinda would love to meet any kids in her age group. We are always out and about over the weekends and could meet up plenty of fun places. I have shown her the picture of Molly that was posted so now she has a face to the name. I will get a pic or two up later of my little ones.

Thanks - do you have any idea how long these programs take to transfer say a 90 minute movie?

I have found that it take about 1.5 - 2x the length of the movie, but I am working on an older laptop, so that may be a factor.

04. I had just left for the college program, but my brother and sister in law were on the short list for Conan O'Brian staying in there house. I remember a couple of years ago when the NBA all star game was here. it was absolute insanity.

My DH said the exact same thing yesterday. I asked him do you want me to move it to Costco or DU. I was leaning towards DU, $600 goes a long way towards my rum & coke habit, but Paul said NOPE, he doesn't want it getting screwed up and us losing our ressie. So I guess we can be sad and together. I think we get $50 for booking with Disney Visa, wopee!

MAC question....which I guess isn't totally a mac question....but.....
does anyone know if there is a good program out there that will take the DVDs you already own and transfer them into a iPod compatible version? We have tons of movies on DVD and I hate the idea of having to buy them from iTunes to put on the girls' iPods.
