A few days ago I went there and almost snatched 33000 or 34000, can´t remember well which, I was one post short, but I feel they were bothered in not a nice way by it. Maybe it is the language barrier what makes me feel like it, I thougth it was all in fun, even when someone from their thread tried to pirate post 5000 (I think from us).
And I am sorry with my fellow cruisers because after my post, lbgraves said she would be telling all the rest when we approached any post milestone so they can all come and pirate us, so I guess that if they really haunt our thread it will be my fault, though how can all of them keep up with their thread and haunt ours is beyond me, come one, there are people there with more than 3000 posts just in that thread!!!!
Here's the little sickie....sorry if I posted this already! I posted it on another thread for the cruise he's joining me on, so I'm assuming I didn't put it on here since he won't be coming.![]()
Holly, he is a darling!! You must be so proud!!

We plan to spend lots of time touring the US after we retire.
FYI a group of us DISers went together and rented a Hummerzine. Held 20 people. It wound up only costing us each around 30 dollars including tip and a separate vehicle to haul all the luggage.
Well, I'm caught up on 7 or 8 pages and need to hit the hay. Have my 3 month appt. with the ONC/GYN tomorrow morning. After this one it will be every 6 months![]()
I think doing something like that sounds greatI was hoping to get a limo as a surprise for the girls anyway. So, once we all start making our plane reservations, we can see if any of us have similar arrival times and can try and organize a big limo of sorts.
I would be willing to try and organize this. I figure most of us will book plane tickets this summer, so that should give me plenty of time
I'll try and remember to bring up this idea again when we book our tickets.
Ok, so I am sitting here on the 12th night without DH since he is away on businessand thought I would just skim the net for limos
just to get an idea (side note...my house tends to be very clean by the time he finally gets home. I have this thing where i cannot sleep when he is not at home so I find anything to keep me awake. You know clean out the pantry/rearrange the linen closet
) searching things for the cruise has turned out to be much more fun this time. I found one place that rents the Hummerzine, $300.00 (plus tip and extra luggage vehicle-emailed them for more details about total cost) for one way to the port. It holds 20 people (so that could be 4-7 families depending on how many kids etc). Sounds like it could be really reasonable to me. I will bring up this again when I get my tickets.

Kim, I think we are going to be at Disney for a couple of days before the cruise. It may be POP to help keep the costs down, but thene again, I do love POFQ!
Trouble is I would so love the Hummer to the port!
Well gang, off for a day of beauty!! Nails (mani and pedi), facial, massage and hair. We are going to Reno for a blackjack tournanment so must look my best. I will be back on in the late PM.
Ciao for now all...

Nothing, Nada, Zilch, Zero, the empty set!
My youngest turns 5 on SaturdayNo longer my baby! Boo hoo!
Today I get my stitches out from my bunion surgery. So I will be able to shower without a plastic bag over my foot. Hooray!
We did get a nice pack of information from DCL that included a postcard from Mickey. I showed it to DH and he wasn't very impressed but I was thrilled lol.
I can't decide where to stay before the cruise in Florida. I can't imagine going all the way there and not at least spending a day at WDW but the cruise is so long it will use up all of DH's vacation time. Maybe I will make do with a night at a Disney hotel and dinner at downtown Disney.
Well, sure, I'll miss him, but he's gone on 3 Disney cruises so far, and will be going with me on one in November, so he's definitely not deprived. But without going into sticky details here, the main reason has to do with the whole joint legal custody deal. His dad would never agree with me taking him out of school so many days in a row (not to mention our schools don't even allow that many days off). So I make up for it with a couple 7 day cruises and Tyler will be OK with it.Holly, he is so cute!!! How can you leave him at home and not bring him to the cruise? I understand your reasons, but it must be hard.
I love the picture. It just makes you want to curl up on the sofa with your hot coco and a good book, with a nice toasty fire in the fireplace. Okay it might have to be the laptop checking the DIS instead of a book!![]()

Angie-what a cool way to spend your retirement time...visiting friends and family AND seeing great sights along the way. The only thing you'll need to decide is where you're going to park it when you take your Disney cruises!!!![]()
RV storage! I am looking for one in the LA area now for this cruise. We should be on the road by then. We are thinking we can do a one month rental at an RV storage that is secured.

You may get enough people from the resorts to do a second hummerzine. Ours made 3 stops at resorts....of course there was a $20 charge for each additional stop, but divided among the group it made little difference.
