FISH MAIL INFO:
Should we be PMing Linda (seaulater) if we have a fish extender or May Christmas Stocking so it can be noted in the mini-navigator?

I'm so excited! I love planning and my husband is so glad I found you all so I can stop talking to him about our trip!!! :yay:

NO, no PM's yet please. I've got to finish my Med. cruise first in May and then the DVC Member Cruise in October. Once I get those two cruises out of the way, and I have those mini-navigators done, then I'll start on this one. So Plan on about me making an annoucement at the first part of November as to gathering info.

Thanks!

Perfect! Sorry to jump the gun!

Lisa:

Thanks for posting the info about the teams. My team members and I are very excited about naming the team and finding just the right item.

As and aside, you remind me of myself as I tend to get excited, want to plan every minute and also have a Treo. I have actually have worn out one Treo and am on my second Treo!!

I guess we are a tekkie family as we never travel without 2 notebook computers, Sony and HP printers, cell and/or satellite phones, Tom Tom Navigation system (hooked to my Treo), video camera, Sony Camera and my DH's Nikon D2K camera.

I think if it came to a choice of leaving clothes or electronics behind, clothes would loose hands down!! One can always use a washer!!

DH is working on some patent issues this AM so I think it will be a typing on the computer day. At least it is not raining!!!

Still not caught up. Hopefully this weekend.

Had to take my car in for service - always a dreaded day. Have to pick it up - $1500 later. Don't they know I'm trying to save for a cruise!!!:rotfl:

Very cold here at the moment but it's almost March so spring isn't too far away.

Don't laugh, but what on earth is a Treo? Meant to ask when Lisa posted about using it in the car, but got sidetracked. I'm assuming some sort of handheld computer thingy?

:sad2: the Dis meet at Storytellers is while we're on the Repo to the Med!:sad1:

We could plan a Dis meet on board in honor of the Ship of Thieves who are at DL on the 21st (sea day) and have our own little Dis get together!

So we are finishing our basement and I get my own craft room! We bought cabinets a couple of weekends ago and I decided the other night when I got my new scrapbook magazine that I need to paint the room a brighter color. Told DH this morning I needed to go to the mother ship to buy paint (that would be Home Depot). He asked what for. I said I am painting my new craft room.

He rolled :rolleyes1 his eyes, and just gave me that look :headache: Then said he wasn't helping to paint. I said no problem :wizard: I can do it! (Of course, I painted the upstairs bathroom, painting the guest room and did all that fancy stuff, etc. etc.).

So, headed to go buy some cool paint!

It's really crazy that we're planning all this so far out. I think it's because of the vacuum created by a complete lack of info. from DCL. We can't plan excursions, etc., so we'll find something else to plan! :yay:

What were you doing last night??? We had our neighbors over for wine and martinis. DH makes a mean martini. We had Mango and Blue Raspberry last night. Mango was yummy. Blue Raspberry tasted kinda like a jolly rancher with a weird aftertaste. Not so great. We have the best neighbors. They are our best friends and I would so love for them to come on a DCL cruise with us, but I don't think it will happen. We sailed with them last year in the British Virgin Islands. Wondered if we would still be talking to each other after 10 days together on the sailboat, but it was great.

Your evening sounds great! I haven't lived in my house long enough to know my neighbors that well.

My evening wasn't as wild as it sounded. Just drinks and dinner at Red Lobster with 3 friends....girls night out. We all had a blast flirting with our adorable waiter! He's probably still laughing about the table of crazy old bags! :rotfl2: Got him to blush quite a few times! :rotfl: He's probably scarred for life.

DH has a Blackberry, and I hate that thing. There's absolutely no getting away from work, even on vacation. :headache: He's part of the Whitehouse press pool, so he gets constant, and I do mean constant, e-mail updates. Do I care what the president ate for lunch today or whether he did or did not go on a bike ride after church? NO! He'd better be careful on the cruise or it's going overboard. LOL. I shouldn't complain, his crazy work schedule is what is paying for our cruise. :rolleyes1

I can imagine that must drive you crazy! We are always typing away on our Treo's or computers. When the GK's come to visit, you can see all 5 of us sitting on the bed typing on the 'puters. GK's love to play on Club Penguin and we must look like nuts!!

:surfweb:

Holly, are you going to get this blizzard they keep talking about? We've got freezing rain with the snow supposed to move in later this afternoon. Not too much snow, maybe 6 inches. The local weathermen are in full hype mode: WORST STORM OF THE YEAR!!

Like I said, we have this freezing rain and the roads are terrible, but DS9 is just insisting, in a very dramatic fashion, that he go to his drama class. Do I really need to send him to a class to teach him how to be MORE dramatic? Anywhooo, the class is about 30 miles away, so I wasn't going to let him go. Enter DH, who has a new toy: a truck with 4 wheel drive. So DH insists the roads aren't that bad (and he wants to play with his new toy), so they set off about an hour ago. I haven't gotten a call that they're in the ditch yet.
