Welcome one and all..having survived My Frozen Valentine 2007 across much of our great frosted plains, we come to the portion of our show that we like to call roll calls and updates and round ups oh my!!!

Roll Call - just a couple of updates to existing, but no new members. By the way, has anyone heard from Drumbumswife? She posted in the begining but hasn't been seen or heard from since? Also, if you all would not mind reviewing the list and seeing if there are people on that you KNOW are not going, and sending me a PM to keep it current. Remember Capt Spanxx only has so much money for planks and grog and rum...

What are American Girl Dolls, what are My Twinn Dolls, what are Hollister clothing stores? The dolls are expensive toys that your lovely daughters will want multiples of, including enough clothes to require the dolls having their own armoire, and eventually, their own bedroom. After said girls out grow the expensive dolls, they move onto the Hollister stores and into expensive clothing. This also includes Roxy, A&F, Volcum, American Eagle, etc...(my child is rattling them off to me as I am typing this) every one sing along now in your best Maurice Chevalier accent...Thank heaven, for little girls. For little girls get bigger all the time...

What is bunko/bunco and how does it work? Try www.buncorules.com pretty good site and I found that I thought I could still play this game after have a couple DOD.

Snow...it's not just for skiing any more...it is also for shoveling and blowing and artfully decorating your home

MI4 - can the Ship of Thieves successfully take over the Dumbotron for a game of Disney Scene It? Could they stop us if we really wanted to? I think not...<insert evil laugh here>

Does DCL supply the shoe boxes to store reservations and other imporatant information in, or do the employees need to bring their own?

I was just over at trip reports, did you read about the fireworks problem on the magic? Scary, but all seems well.

Hello everyone I am live from the Disney Magic this evening. While doing the fireworks during the Pirates in the Caribbean deck party, there was an emergency code red call to the rear of the boat. My husband went to look and discovered that there was a misfire on the fireworks and appeared to be a fire by Palo restaurant. I am trying to find out more, and will post more later. They had all the fire hoses out and there was water everywhere. It also looked like they were possibly doing some roof repair to palo's. There were pieces of fireworks on the deck outside Palo's.

Will post more later.

Teri Irwin (Steve Irwin's wife) and family are also onboard this cruise. They are just a few cabins down from us.

Sorry they are also having internet satellite problems.

Here's what happened with the fireworks --

about 1/4 of the way through one misfired and hit the side of the ship. The next one misfired and landed right next to palo's and started a fire. That set off the fire sprinklers on deck 10 aft. Our assistant server is part of the fire team. He said it was a HUGE mess because the Captain sent everyone to the Pirate buffet instead of Palo's. The people working the buffet were scared to death because they had no idea the buffet was on fire -- it wasn't. The captain then sent everyone to the right place and everything seems ok. All brunch's at Palo's today were cancelled, but dinner's were ok. Our Assistant Server told us that Fireworks are a sign of distress, so Disney has to let everyone know what they are doing first and then this happens ... They haven't said if they will or won't be doing fireworks again.

Holly, My mom spoke to folks up in Ironwood, lousy snow year for them. They had no snow for Christmas.

We had it all cleared off, until the plow came.

Most of what we are chipping is at the end of the driveway.

We didn't have snow for Christmas either. Didn't have any until 2nd week of January. Then it didn't stop! But it's surprising that they didn't have any up there!

Bad year up at Mammoth Mountain here in California. They didnt get to open their big top of the mountain black diamond runs until the past couple of weeks. If it weren't for man made snow most of the resorts would be closed.

Of course we got snow down at my house...think I should put in a gondola for the hill in my backyard???

Fortunately, I haven't had any of that "end of the driveway" crap from the snow plow yet. That's just the worst! That feeling of dread on the way home from work, wondering if you'll be able to drive into your driveway or have to park in the road, climb over the plowed mound, get the shovel and dig an entrance to your driveway. That was my job at my mom's house when I was in high school!
