What a beautiful setting. See if I took a picture of my house you could see the next one also. We can't pee without our neighbors hearing it. Although our house is older so we are not as close a some. You may have the snow but that looks a little inviting.

I just BARELY do not have the neighbors in the picture. We are one of the bigger lots in our allotment, and we are in a cul-de-sac with trees and a hill behind us. I walked the property before there was even a road here to pick out our lot.

Though I don´t envy the snow at all, I am one who cannot understand how can people say snow and vacation on the same sentence.

I LOVE to ski (but haven't had the chance for several years). Skiing vacations are great times!

(maybe not as much fun as a Cruise in the tropics though . . .)

We have alot of game learning to catch up on. Skipbo, Bunko and Scene It. I am taking my first class on scrapbooking on Sun the 25th. We lead a dull life here in country.

Oh, she likes Dirty Jobs too - just not as much. Adam on Mythbusters really cracks her up. We will watch that show and just both crack up at some of the things that happen.

EVERY night now (since we have been socked in) we have to watch another episode (even if we've seen it already) together, or she will not go to bed!

Dirty jobs, mythbusters and good eats are black holes in my house, gosh forbid if a marathon is on,

My name is Nanette, and I'm an American Girl addict....we are stopping in LA on the way to Dland to pick up Nicki....and yes this was a bonus Xmas (3 dolls) good heavens I hate to say that outloud, it makes it look like Molly is spoiled rotten (which is only partly true, because I'm the one that loves those dolls so much) The hard part is deciding who will get to come on the cruise with us.

I think I must be the only one who's never heard of American Girl dolls!

Good afternoon everyone. I hope the weather has improved for all you in the winter storm areas. Would love to see some pictures.

How beneficial is it to be Castaway Club members when you go on a cruise? Is the stateroom gift worth it? Sorry, but I am clutching at straws finding ways to make taking another short cruise in early December, when we are in Orlando, to be the best thing ever to John!!! I will have to make it sound cheaper than staying in Orlando and with the added benefits next year!! Just building up my case!!

On the last repo cruise, CC members got MUCH better than normal stateroom gifts. I believe we got custom printed blankets...along with the commeorative gifts that everyone got. Anyone else?

They are actually lovely, and quite expensive, dolls that are taken from books depicting events in American History. They have stores in New York, Los Angeles and Minnesota and have movies that have been shown on TV and on DVD.

I think it was so disappointing to me because they started off with a sofa and china... what kind of survivor is that? I am waiting to see what happens tonight though. Still my favorite was the original season.

Yeah, what's up with the sofa & china? I'm thinking it must mean a "shocking twist" will be coming soon. Get them used to a bit of luxury and then make them move and start over with nothing? Maybe.
