I got my confirmation letter today! 1st thing to keep track of for the scrapbook!

I went to 2 different craft/scrapbook stores today, and spent more $ than expected, now just can't wait to use them.

I even bought a few things to try out to help make this cruise even more special. I know, nothing like planning sooooooo far in advance.

Keri - I live in Davenport - off I4 - exit 58. We should definately try to get together at some point.

I'm not sure if I caught up on all the pages (I forgot where I left off last night and you're all too quick).

Holly, I love the story from your son about where the characters sleep on the ship. Kids are too funny!!

DH was sweet enough to stay home from work on my first day post-surgery, and we wound up at the outlet mall. Poor guy!!! We got great deals though, kids shirts and skirts for 99 cents! Now Olivia really doesn't need any clothes.


I wish I could stay up and chat with everyone, but I feel tired and just want to ice my head and get to bed. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Today, we got to make a special trip to buy "big girl" underpants for our 21 month old! We have been working on potty training this week and she has done very well.
She was so excited to pick out her new panties. (Disney princesses, of course, we're raising her right!) She didn't even want to get out of the car to go to dinner because it meant leaving the princesses in the car.

I just hope she keeps it up. I would so love to be done with diapers.

WOOHOO! I hope they do that again! Sounds like the Quiet Cove pool wasn't very quiet that day! I never even knew they did that because I couldn't keep Tyler in the club long enough to see what the adult activities are like. If they have something like that on this cruise, I'll be there!

You know, I was at the quiet cove when they did one of these contests on our cruise . . .

You weren't allowed to get your own stuff at the buffet, and you had to use sanitizing wipes all the time for fear of spreading disease, but 3 men and 3 women were all trying to suck ping pong balls out of the pool with their mouths and spit them into a bucket . . .

My wife and I are so excited about sailing on this cruise. This cruise has a lot of firsts for us - our first Disney cruise, our first two-week cruise, our first through the Panama Canal, our first cruise longer than a week and the bigeee (drum roll, please) - our first without our children (one is in college; one just got married and is in the Navy). We are a bit concerned about cruising alone and hope to meet up with other couples. We just discovered this board, which has lots of great information and lots of enthusiastic folks!

hi and welcome....this will be our 6th DC and we're not doing it with the kids either. we've done 4 already, no kids. we're planning our 5th for halloween 07 but we're only doing a 4 night. that's the one where we're bringing the kids (adults) and grandkids (teens). Notice how we do the shortest one with the kids and the longer ones without them.

are you doing an early or a late seating for dinner? we're doing a late because it takes me way too long to get ready. let me know, and maybe we can sit together.

I'm totally freaked out that I'm going to the brig...

I can see my sig logo is bigger than some, but not figuring out how to shrink it...

Yes, we are on board. Thank you to those of you who knew and kept it quiet, letting us make the decision as to whether we want to take this up again.

My DH and I have been reading the posts about the Fish Extenders and debating on whether we want to take up this project again or not. It all started when I found the Disboards for the first time and the thread for the 11night SC. They were busy talking about Fish Extenders and I wanted one. After looking and not finding one I decided to try and make one. One of the girls on the cruise was nice enough to send me pictures of hers and I figured out how to do it. At that point there weren’t many people on the thread so I offered to do them as a gift. Well, as we all know can happen, the thread grew by leaps and bounds and the project became bigger and more expensive than we anticipated (not that we weren’t happy to do it). Anyway, we have been hesitant because we really cannot afford that expense again. Luckily I am retired so the sewing isn’t really an issue. My DH and I would be willing to do this again but only if we charge. We can do them for $20 plus $5 shipping in the US. Outside of the US we would have to check on what shipping would be. That will just about cover the cost. The extenders will be a little different this time since it is a different cruise but the overall style will be the same and it will still be in Mickey colors. We have been looking at material and as soon as we make up our minds we will let you know what the colors and materials will be.

There, now the cat is out of the bag. Amesmom was the only one who figured out who I was. I am really surprised that since our Dis name has been brought up a couple of times in regards to this no one else had put two and two together. Anyway, feel free to PM if you have any questions.

Can you show we who are ignorant of fish extenders what yours look like?

I sure respect your decision to charge - we kept changing our mind on what to do on our last cruise as the group kept growing and growing, and growing!

Should I drive down to get one if we decide to place an order?

This is so nice of you. But I think you need to charge more so there is not question that your costs are covered. Not sure how everyone else feels, but I think you should have it be $25 plus $5 shipping U.S. and you will let us know if it ends up being more? I'll PM you. Thanks so much! I just got finished telling my husband about "fish" mail and then read your post! Sounds like so much fun.

Monica I would love to meet. We head to Orlando often...
I have been thinking about how we are getting to the port and back usually we just drive and leave our car at whatever hotel we stay at and then drive home...but since we will be flying home I am not sure what we are going to do. I guess we could drive to Orlando airport and park...and then get a shuttle or something to drive us to the port...and then when we fly home just fly to Orlando and drive home...man that is going to be a long day,...have you thought about your plans??

How did you like Belize? We are headed there in March.

Are you going on a cruise there or staying for awhile? We went there just for the day (cruise) and loved it - went scuba diving and it was just beautiful. I think I recall the Port area where we docked was a little iffy area. Pretty industrial. But the water - just beautiful. Lisa
