I so wanted to spend a semester on the Semester at Sea ship, but my univeristy did not allow for those credits to be transferred, I was so bummed out.

I've had 3 people tell me today that DL is so crowded today that they left. Then they just showed it on the news and said it was a packed mouse house! I'm going over to meet the girls early on Saturday morn.

For those of you staying at WDW before the cruise. We received an email from our TA. Our current ressie is for May 7-10th at the Poly. 1211.97 standard room.

The gist of the email.
Disney released a room only discount for your travel dates today.
Disney is advising that the Polynesian is not available for your travel dates.
Note the following prices are just quotes.
Animal Kingdom Lodge Standard View would be 621.00
Boardwalk Inn Standard View would be 941.64
Contemporary Garden Wing - Garden View would be 925.00
Contemporary Tower Bay Lake View would be 1145.00
Wilderness Lodge - Courtyard View Bunk Bed - room would have 1 queen bed and a set of bunk beds would be 891.00

I'm sticking with my diggs at the GF... But I would have loved a discount...

If you've never tried the rose' of those brands, you'll have to come by for a glass - they are really good. If you like good champagne, I know you'll love it!

So where do we line up???

Yep, love the rates for the AKL but we've stayed there before and wanted to try the Poly. Just our luck no new rate.

But you will love the Poly!!!

I cried the first time I left the Magic......I still have tears in my eyes when I leave. I heard that there is lots of "dust" in the ari at Port Canaveral....Wonder if there is "dust" in the air at LA?

First of all and prayers for all who need them. I haven't been posting but have been reading. My stepdad fell and had to have stitches and broke his nose so I haven't been home much.

Who is renting a car in California? Will the Car rental be opened? Is there one close to the port?

Enterprise will be open according to their website. It's across from the port. Budget is about 6 miles away and they're open also. If you're doing a 2 day rental or longer they'll also reimburse you either $15 or $25 for the taxi. I think Lisa (Calmom) said Hertz was also open and doing the same.

I don't think so. But I suppose I should give that some thought. I think we could perhaps call one as soon as we dock?

In 2005 when we sailed Disney to Mexico there were tons of taxis lined up at the dock. We had no problem getting one to go back to the hotel where our car was parked.

That's what I thought....no not that you're a DIM WIT...because you ARE NOT....that you were with Budget because Mark was going to try to share a taxi with you gals (I'm waiting at the port for him with the boys and luggage) and I swore you said Budget but then when you said Hertz, I thought, hmmmm, must have gotten it wrong....

Oh my gosh I think I want this. I can see having parties in the summer with the kids watching movies. Where in the heck whould I set it up though and I would need to buy the projector set up too. Hmm it is $198 at Walmart.com for the inflatable screen.

I'm watching the end of Overboard? The old movie with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell....love that movie for some reason. I did pilates this am and will try and get in a workout again tomorrow. You are kicking butt at the boot camp thing! Good Job!
