Here are my last batch for today. Time to get ready to go to the concert.

Eeyorelvr10: I just did this one up, if you want a different character for Steve Let me know I don't mind redoing it. I just thought Prince Eric with Vanessa was a good "match" ;)

that's it for today... I think I got most everyone up to date.

Ken thank you so much! I love it! Actually, there are a few ladies I know that might take this off my door for the simple fact that Prince Eric is on there. As for me - :lovestruc Vanessa! Hmmm....wonder why? :scratchin Did I mention I'm a brunette (in my natural state?)

how about asking someone to comfirm if there is a mail drop box at CC....I honestly do not recall if there is.

Good Idea - I will ask a friend that went on recently - she might know was worried about missing the post office if you can believe that.

ok so what is the advantage of taking your laptop on the cruise? I don't want to spend $180 on internet if the connections aren't that good.....

No person's other germs. However, keep in mind that if the connection is bad - it will be bad on your laptop also. But you can go to other locations. Promenade Lounge -- right in front of Guest Services, Deck 4 around atrium, deck 9 and deck 10 around cove pool. You are not stuck indoors - and if you got a long battery - more power to you!

Although we are not going to St. Thomas - we were able to use our sprint mobile card to bypass the ship's system while in port. We never signed up on the internet that trip but we ended up going online. ;)

Hi all,

I have lots of the maps from the last time I picked them up and am happy to send them out to you. V, I already have your address and will stick them in the mail tomorrow.

hey all those going to DL, you don't want to grab me any maps by chance do you? Pretty please??

Vicki, I wonder if they only booked one adult into that Dummy date, as they and you knew that it was a dummy date? If so, this is a great way to book a dummy date, less for the client to lay out, more likely to book, and Disney gets some money up front.
If this is the case, I think I might book a dummy date, just in case. Don't want to miss out on the OBC and discount.Pj

The ship, on the TA cruise they made us put down $250 per person for a dummjy date.

That's what we had to do. They also would not let me have the discount with the cat 11. I am planning on booking a dummy date so I hope it is the way you are saying and not how it was last year.

We booked at dummy date with 1 person for $250 on the May TA (actually we booked 3 dummy dates), but we plan to use it for the first booking of the new ships in 2010. We aren't planning to cruise in the next year. Leslie, did tell us that it would change the price of the cruise we booked if we added on, but we weren't planning to use that cruise. So, if we use it the first 5am booking for the 2010 ship then it will apply to the cheapest price with 10% off. They will just transfer the $250. Does that make sense?

Holly - great picture!
Thanks! I was really bored at work today and just looking at old files stored on the computer there to see what can be deleted and found that one. Tyler just loves Bethany. :goodvibes In fact, just a few days ago, he took her picture off the fridge, kissed it, and said, "I love Bethany" and put it back. :lmao: VERY cute!

Kelly - thanks so much. We've been on the deck and in the pool ---- I didn't realize this passporter DL was old. :(

This requires some planning. We need to find someone who will be cruising before us and is willing to pick up stamps for us.
We were there last May on Mother's Day and yes they were closed. But all you had to do was drop your cards and your money off at guest services and they left them to be mailed. It worked, because I sent one to myself and I did receive it with the Castaway Cay stamp.

That said, after we were told by a CM that we could do this, the guest services people seemed to be totally confused by this. Later in the day, they did figure it out.

ugh, my mom calls me for the disney #....gee, they are going to Pop tomorrow and to Blizzard Beach.....ahhhh, the perks of living at home.

Nothing for me because the only thing I do on here is work and DIS!

PINK BOA'S CAN BE FOUND AT MICHAEL'S CRAFTS

Thanks it will go well with my wig. Maybe I can get out of wearing a pink shirt because I can't find one. Two years ago all my clothes were pink and now I can't find anything.

we started going thru our clothes, and eded up with a for Goodwill. We still have plenty of clothes to wear on the cruise:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

We found some for goodwill as well but he nevers wears this sort of stuff so he has maybe worn each one twice. They all looked new. I'm jealous because i have nothing. I spent all the money on the kids so I'll be in rags and my wigs!

I just wanted to let you know that my brother Tim died this morning.

Thank you to everyone who has sent prayers and pixie dust for him over the last 6 months.

Oh, I'm so very sorry  Sending hugs and prayers.

Hi everyone, just checking in. Oy, life is keeping me so busy lately. To add to all my other matters, I now have a funeral to go to on Sunday. One of my friends lost her 18-month battle with cancer. She was only 51 years old. She went from 190 lbs to 80 lbs on her 5'9" frame. Just goes to show that life can be short so you should enjoy every day like it might be the last. Ok, I am off to bed as I have to be up in a few hours and start all over again. I will have both boys this weekend and need to take them to have their new suits tailored so they will look nice for a formal photo on board. Talk to everyone soon.

 So sorry to hear you have lost a friend. I lost my DH 6 yrs ago to cancer , he was just 47 , so I know how hard it can be , and yes, it does make you change your outlook on life. But it is not an easy lesson :sad1:

Bad, bad day here. I really thought 2008 was going to be better but... I got a call from DD this morning that DGD12 was being transported from Salem Kaiser dr office to Dornbecker's Childrens Hospital. She has a very serious case of pneumonia. The Childrens Hospital is attached to the one DD and I work at by a skybridge so an easy walk over when she arrived. Her right lung is completely full and they were talking about putting in a chest tube, but after a second xray thought that might not be necessary. They have her on a couple of IV antibiotics and we are praying for a quick recovery. She is on oxygen, had a reaction to vancomycin and had to be put on benedryl for that. She is quite the trouper. When they were trying to get an IV in at Kaiser to transport they kept sticking her and she finally said "could you just try a different place?" I spent a bit of time with them, then decided I would go back to work for awhile while the docs worked her up and decided what to do. As I was walking back to my office I got a call on my cell from my sis telling me our cousin had commited suicide this morning. :sad2: This was as huge shock, the last person I would expect this from. His dad (my favorite uncle) has lost 2 wives in the past 5 years and now a child. :sad1: How much loss can one person endure? He can use lots of prayers. He is 82 years old and plans to fly back to Delaware for services. So far no one has been able to say they can go with him. I will talk with DrHug when he gets home and see if I can do a couple of days.

Ok, now I am going to try to catch up on this new thread. I will skip the last 10 pages of the old one.

Thanks for listening to my troubles.:grouphug:

I am so sorry  So sorry for your loss, how terrible  I hope your DGD is doing better.

Awesome news!!! I know this will sound silly, but that makes my night!!

Frank is terrible. They say he has Failure to Thrive. He has a fever and his blood pressure is about 70/40. He is throwning up and coming out the other end as well. He has had the hiccups since Monday non-stop. They say he is becoming septic, which I am not to sure I understand. They told me the infection is racing though the blood stream. He is weak and miserable.

Sorry to be so graphic,
Lisa

Lisa, so sorry to hear that Frank is worse. I had so hoped for you and your family he would be better by now  Sending prayers and hugs

I'm way behind once again, and so sad to read what seems to be so much sad news:sad1: Sending pixie dust and hugs and prayers to all in need :grouphug: We certainly all need this vacation. I hope everyone is well by the time it comes around, six short weeks ?!

We can't find any black dress shoes for Brooke because they are only out at Christmas. She has a black dress for semi-formal night but maybe she'll be wearing that Giselle costume again if we can't find any shoes!

Deborah - I have found the one thing to not buy ahead is SHOES!! Samantha is in a 12/13 at 5!
