Sorry!!!

It is a VERY salty BLACK yeast-based spread that is incredibly good for you. You put it on sandwiches, toast, crackers etc...Aussie kids are brought up on it, and it is usually one of the first things we all eat...

It is made from the by products of beer production.....

It is YUM !:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

OK, I'm all about food and trying new things, but not too sure about this one.

Thanks Kelly... I needed that... I do believe that in some way they will always be in my life. I know I got things that their parents didn't growing up because of the time I spent with them... first steps, etc... :lovestruc

You are making a difference that last forever!

You are handling this terrible tragedy extremely well.

My Grandfather was a warden of a maximum security prison here in Canada for 30+ years. He was very hardened by what he saw there. He often told us after he retired, that the hardest times he faced was when he watched convicted killers having time with their families, knowing all along that the victims families did not have the same privilege.

Many hugs and pixie dust from my family to yours

:grouphug:

Thanks so much. I wish I had gotten that opportunity to say goodbye.

good morning...

Just from your post I can see what a wonderful human being you are, to think of the other family in a situation where most wouldn't is truly amazing. Many prayers out to you and your children as you continue to heal and face all the upcoming.

I so agree.

I am trying to keep up with the thread but even with my super human DISing skills, I lag behind.

Yesterday I had to take my son to see a pediatric cardiologist because he had a abnormal EKG. His blood pressure has been running high ever since his Dad died, I just assumed it was stress induced, but a "variant" EKG that the Dr. ordered sent us to see a specialist. He had an echocardiogram, which turned out to show that his heart is normal. WHEW!! This last year has been the hardest of my life and I am so glad that this was not another mountain to climb. I am worn out.
Okay, back to the fun cruise planning. :)

My heart goes out to you! Lots of love:love:  and hugs! :grouphug:
Hope the cruise gives youa chance to get some Pixie Dust pixiedust: .and the fantasy of Disney ::MickeyMoworks it's magic on you! ::MinnieMo

Good to know...I think OKW has washing machines so I'll take my chances for my dissers. I might as well get rid of it. It'll never get used here! BUT my limoncello..well thats all MINE MINE MINE!

Yes, OKW does have washers.

Limoncello... we all bought that last year on the Med cruise. I tasted it and made the squishy sour face!!! I bought these beautiful little bottle shaped like musical instruments from Amalfi for all of my neighbors.

Tammy, so glad about the result of the tests on your son. A weight off your mind for sure. He also miught relax a little knowing that news.

I hadn't realised your husband had been murdered - must have missed that, though I did see he had died recently. This must be so hard to deal with on top of your loss.

We don't have the option of the death penalty over here - I don't know how I would feel either if I were in your position.

It is timely that you are away when you are.

I am so glad that we are going on this cruise and Disney afterwards. We need a change of scenery. Many people in this situation move to another town, for a fresh start or whatever. I have a great job with people who are just fantastic, I don't want to leave that. And, my son and daughter, probably would not enjoy starting over again since we moved here in 2006. Just too soon to move. That would be stress on top of stress....

That's why I unplug mine every night... ever since I heard Gene Kelly lost his house due to a Xmas tree fire... and it comes down right around New Years...

So when do you start the paperwork for Harvard?;)

Very Smart!!!!

Soon!

Have you managed to get your flights and transportation to and from the ship all set up?

That is one thing that will occupy most of your time left before the trip:lmao:

It certainly has with mine....

Are you doing Legoland when you get out west? That will be the highlight for Liam....or that is just what he is saying now

you mean the Lights off thing is an Urban Myth? I didn't know that!

I am just more careful in big cities than I was in my small town in IL!

Okay, the last few days were great. Filled with baseball tradition, the L.A. Coliseum on Saturday, opening day yesterday.
Joseph

Joseph, Did you see the big Red Sox game? Wow, that sounded fantastic. We have Red Sox/Angels tickets this summer.

Ok Ian I found your first MUSTHAVE accessory for your Smart car:

I laughed out loud when I saw that one!

I should have added "April Fool" right away on the same post! We are going to be very happy in our family suite, where my DH will sleep on the airbed, unless we flip a coin, and then it might be me! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I bought the Disney transfers, just because I think it would be easier, I have the Hyatt for the night before the cruise, and I am booked on Southwest for all legs. All I need are excursions and a big pile of cash for the bill at the bar I am going to have.

I am toying with the idea of staying out at Disneyland for a couple of days or so. I can change my air pretty easily on southwest if I decide to do that.

Does anyone know if Disney will provide transportation to the Disneyland resort instead of LAX after the cruise? My TA is out of town for a funeral.

Tammy - yes DL will provide transportation to their resorts.....! Not sure of the details though.
