I just noticed your post about wraps that lose inches...they do work, but it is very short lived. They are basically a detox wrap that helps you eliminate some xs water and lose a few inches. Normal results will last for a few days at most......

so you just plan them correctly, you can remain eliminated....one day on one day off...

Well we had some great news today...

DD got into our first choice school for Kindergarten! Finally the long wait is over, I was starting to think that we'd be on the trip when I finally heard.

Congratulations!!!!

Wanted to share one last story.

Since I was six years old, I have had horrible eyesight. Both of my sisters have had Lasik procedures and I had looked forward for about five years to have the procedure done myself. Received really disheartening news when I was told by the surgeon that my eyesight was so bad, that I wasn't a candidate. Was extremely depressed, but went to see the Phoenix Suns Opthalmologist for a second opinion. He was amazing. Over the last three weeks I have had intraocular lenses implanted in my eyes. The results are truly a blessing. In both eyes, I have gone from 20/1600 vision to 20/25 vision! I can see!! No more hard contact lenses that hurt incredibly. No more eye glasses! I can see when I wake up in the morning. My vision wasn't even this good with the contacts or glasses. In three months, I return to have Lasik for astigmatism in both eyes which is suppose to improve my vision even more. It is the most wonderful thing outside of my family that has happened for me. For that folks that have good vision, you just won't understand. Words can't describe how happy I am.

That's great...it's nice isn't it! I think we went to the same Dr.....Shawrtz I figured if he's giving surgery to pro players we would be in good hands....I had DH go first(I was chicken) he had better vision than me ...my vision was not very good. It's been almost 3 years since I had lasik and it is awesome. I know so many people that have gone to him...he's THE Dr. to go to he is really good at what he does. You'll get to enjoy this trip even better now

Okay, the last few days were great. Filled with baseball tradition, the L.A. Coliseum on Saturday, opening day yesterday.

Today I went to see my primary care doctor for my 4 month check up. Got good news and bad news. But worst of all, I mentioned the cruise and she made me get a Hep A and Tetanus shot. One in each arm, she said I would be sore, I can not lift my arms above my head! And I have to do it again in six months. Next time I am keeping my mouth shut.

Has anyone else done this shots?

no shots here????? I'm getting worried should we? I don't like the idea of DK getting shots if they don't need them. Well, at least you know you are safe.

Are you doing both? I was not even planning on it. She did not give me much of a choice. She said if we were just going to the beach on excursions, she would not make me take them. But with our plans, she got really pushy.

Hey Woody, How about a meet one night at the Hollywood bowl this summer? Maybe the Bugs on Broadway show? There are so many great shows this summer.

That would be splendid! We love summer nights at the Hollywood Bowl, and the Bugs Bunny concerts are a favorite. Let's talk by PM.

Well, today I looked at some of the mail from DCL and it stated to have personal info submitted by 75 day mark and I panicked because I had yet to fill out the forms online...so I called CC agent and she said she could plug in our passports and DH passport expired? so I thought it said 08 April 09 which turned out to be April 8, 2009 what a relief. That was scary...I'm so glad I did this today. So I've filled everything out. I still need to rent cars FL/CA and hotel in FL and tix. It will be here before we know it! So if anyone hasn't filled out the forms yet...please do ...just to make sure everything is a go
