Visiting with family for Easter but wanted to pop on to wish everyone a very happy Easter and Marilyn

Happy 60th Birthday!! Enjoy your day!

I'll post after the surprise...we will head home around 6pm and the map is tapped to the door! All the kids got Pirates of the Caribbean Easter baskets - they were running around playing pirates. Little to they know!!!!

Holly do you have all your flights?

Well, long story, a slight mix-up, we'll be driving down to FL with an economy size Enterprise rental car, drop the rental off and take their shuttle to port, and make an adventure of the trip down. Tyler loved his drive to TN a while back, so I think he'll do fine doubling the drive. I did a mapquest and it says 1200 miles, 19 hour drive from our house. I'll be exhausted by the time we get there, but that's OK because vacation will start!

No return flights yet though.

Wow Holly, that is tough when you are the only driver.

I was discussing my concerns about this with my office manager and she assures me she does it all the time and that it's an easy drive. So we'll see! I'll just pull over to a rest area (in the daytime, of course) whenever Tyler falls asleep and take a nap myself, then hop back on the road. I remember when we drove to TN, I needed to stop for the bathroom more than he did and he got so irritated about that. He just wanted to stay in the car and get there quicker!

OK, so it is now moving into the 40+ days out from departure.

Has anyone else started collecting $1 bills yet, or am I the only one who comes with a roll of them for tips for room service, etc?

Another question, are tips included when you get drinks?

So, how many singles do you think would be good for a cruise of this duration?

Besides, after taking many wonderful vacations & cruises over the past 3 years, this will be our last vacation for a couple years because finances have changes so much with all the medical bills, so we're going to live it up and make it happen no matter what! I hadn't expected things to change so quickly or so much after booking, so I probably should have cancelled, but just didn't think things would be affected the way they have been. I don't want to go into the details, but our lifestyle will have to change drastically for a couple years, until we get the bills from his treatment figured out. And once the school starts occupational therapy, then that bill will go away, lightening our financial burden in a major way.

Hmmmmm......there's a van in my driveway. Better go see who that is.

I am just waiting to see how morning sickness hits me, because if it is bad, we will have to leave ship, hopefully it will be just like my other pregnancy where I felt great all the time.

In case we don´t make it, since we might cancel at the last minute, we will still be paying for our part of the hummerzine and the fish extender team, so count us in for both, please.

Me too! Every summer my dad & stepmom would rent a cottage for a month in South Haven, MI right on Lake MI and us 4 kids would all go through that routine at bedtime every night, driving our folks nuts!

Well we have all been outside the whole afternoon...I am fried, but a good fried. Hopefully the girls are worn out...John is grilling steaks and chicken on the grill and I came in to change.

Samantha is really swimming well. Haley has all of a sudden started not wanting to swim, she was a fish before? Not sure what that is about but she has her daddy's love of the garden, she wants to water EVERYTHING and she has her own garden...she and John have planted a few things and she takes the responsibility to water them everyday....I am surprised how well she does remembering it.
