Wow...I finally heard from my folks and it took them 3 1/2 hours to get home from my house. So that was 6 1/2 hours roundtrip for them for just a one hour visit and they got home to 11 inches of snow to clear, then 20 min after they got home my stepsister dropped off her 2 boys around 9pm to stay overnight. After the boys leave in the morning, my folks will probably sleep all day tomorrow!

NO, I'm not bringing him. My reason for trying to keep him awake is so he can be in the kids club and fall asleep there so that I can come. If he falls asleep in our room before then, I can't come.

If Heather is not coming, maybe it could be a night that he has a sleepover with Bethany.

I hear Jersey Boys is opening in LV soon. that's a really good one as well. We go to LV quite often (3 hour drive for us) because my FIL, MIL and SIL and her family live there. It's one of my favorite places!!

WOW that sounds great. I can't wait to check it out!

Oh, Heather will want to be a part of this too. :thumbsup2 I'll work it out. I'm hoping he'll just fall asleep in the kids' club. I'm not going to worry about it.....for me, vacation is all about winging it! :yay:

Hey Lori! Good to see you! :goodvibes

We got back from Spring Break last night and I've been trying to catch up every since. :rotfl: Actually, I just bagged the last thread and jumped right into this one. Hopefully I didn't miss too much.

Skiing in Colorado was nice (for the guys, that is. I didn't ski). Turns out my two boys are natural skiiers. Who knew? I'm sure we'll be planning more trips to Colorado in the future. We also visited family in Greeley. It was a nice vacation, but I still wish we had gone someplace warm. This winter is killing me, and we have snow forecast for Easter. Yuck. This cruise cannot come fast enough for me. :)

Yes, Jersey Boys is opening at the Venetian. We saw it twice in L.A. and loved it. The Venetian has started selling advance tickets.

It's the perfect show for L.V. -- musically driven with a light storyline (similar to Mama Mia, except Jersey Boys is based on a true story, like "Buddy" is the Buddy Holly story).

Deb -- we saw the gondolas at the Venetian and thought of you.

Glad they made it home safe Holly.....that's a lot of hours to be out driving in the snow.....by the time those kids leave, they're going to sleep for a week!!! Ha Ha Ha!!!

So many people are going on trips lately, I can't keep everybody straight, so I couldn't remember where your family had gone. Sounds like a great time! Even though you didn't ski, a vacation is a vacation, and that's all that matters. :thumbsup2

OK I'm showing my age.....I've never tried an energy drink. Do they really work? If so, I'll have to stock up on them.
Don't worry, I've never tried one either. I was afraid of all the extra calories, but wasn't aware there are sugar-free kinds, so I might give one a try since I'm always sleepy.

I tell people if you have never tried one then they will work REALLY well for you. If you are like me and have built up a high tolerance to soda and caffeine then you would need a couple. :lmao:

EXACTLY!!! Very Nicely Put! Now, let's get started already.....we've been waiting for such a long time already.

My liquor cabinet is quite bare...not so big of a drinker at home. I guess I could start with milk and work my way up to propel...hahahahaha

Funny Steph,
How have you been? Tom and I have been counting down the days (as we had nearly 11 inches of snow here today)and we continue to wait for our room assignment:confused: How much longer do you think we will have to wait for that? Another question, Aruba, jeep tour, what time does that start? I really want to get a massage on board and the earliest appointment they have right now is early morning of Aruba day. Also, who do I pm about the scrapbooking event? I think I want in on that if it's not too late.

Happy Easter!

Big 16 oz Monster or Rockstar have only 20 calories in them. Rockstar has a carb free one too. So depending on your diet needs they have something for you! :thumbsup2

True, true. While they were skiing, I went shopping, so it's all good. :thumbsup2

Did you and Mrs. Woody do them? I can't wait to get on there.

Ugggh.....will somebody please come over here and take the package of Kit-Kats away from me? My folks left an 8-pack here for us and I've attacked that already. Add that to my list of snacks mentioned earlier. Plus a small bag of chips. Now I'm craving pancakes smothered in syrup but fortunately, I'm too tired to fix that for myself. I've had the strangest food cravings for about a month now and it's driving me nuts. Must be related too all the other crazy hormonal things. Good grief!

And no, I'm NOT pregnant! :rotfl: Everybody at work always asks me that lately. :lmao:
