Well it looks like we will definitely be having a party. I'm not sure what everyone will be drinking, but we will be having a party. Everyone still wear pink and I'll bring the pink tiaras.....we'll look good in our picture.
Hi Carol, I could ship to my hotel and I could probably get one or maybe two bottles in my carry on, but I think it would be CRAZY to start handing out bottles at the port for people to bring them in their carry ons, especially when they already planned on bringing something for themselves to drink during the cruise.
Thank you for your offer, but I really don't see this as being a good alternative for everyone else.
Anyone excited about the start of the NCAA tournament? We can't believe Oregon actually made it in.
Side note for John - Terrelle Pryor eliminated Oregon. Looks like it is down to Ohio State and Michigan. Really hope he chooses OSU.
I think that is perfect John and solves all the problems!!!![]()
I think I may have an "in" to get a massive amount of booze onboard. Just thought about it. Will call in the morning and see what he says!![]()
Now, that is an EXCELLENT Idea!Connie, how about putting Disney wrapping paper around the box of wine and stick a bow on it. Then put it on the bottom of Patrick's wheel chair.
We have Tivo on 4 of our tvs so I will just switch rooms tomorrow!
That'll work too!
Connie - are your boys twins?
I am not going to fret....just lug my booze on and hopefully flutter my lashes adn they will let me through, or create a diversion and RUN~!
If you need less people for the Cgirls Deb, you can cross me off. I don't mind.
Not wearing pink.
Not wearing crocs.
Oh . . . . champagne girl info . . . sorry . . .
I am really laughing - sorry . . . visions of the parking lot across from the terminal with a van with cases of booze, and DIS'ers in Crocs and pink tiara's lining up to hide a bottle in their carry on . . . What a Mastercard moment that would make!
Hi Chris, this is exactly what I would suggest we do. Marr, are you listening? I think the easiest thing to do is everyone bring a bottle or buy a bottle onboard.....then we could all share and taste each other's. It's the simplist way to get it done.
I don't have tivo, I know, I'm crazy. Have you guys wondered about the cruise. Won't it get all filled up![]()
Here is our long story from this past weekend. Our girls wanted to have their ears pierced right before the Western cruise we did this past October. We suggested they wait until we get back from that cruise. They both sort of forgot about it I guess, until they went to their friend Katie's birthday party Friday night. Katie was going to get her ears pierced on Saturday for her birthday. Our girls got all excited and asked if they could go with Katie and get theirs done too. We said "sure" if they felt they were ready. We go on Saturday and Katie gets a little nervous, so Jenna went first. Jenna did wonderful, didn't complain, cry, etc. Katie backs out. After that, Kayla becomes scared and though she was really disappointed, she backs out too. Sunday we went to the Renaissance Festival way out in east, east Phoenix. On the way home, we swing back to the Chandler mall to stop at the Apple store to get the Airport Extreme. We are having lunch at Cheesecake Factory and Shawn asks Kayla "what kind of earrings were you going to get"? Kayla says, "oh, they were really pretty, like pink diamonds". Shawn says, "do you want to go get your ears done after lunch? I will hold your hand while they do it". Kayla got a huge smile on her face and said "yes". So, she gets them done and only cried for a few minutes afterwards. Said it really hurt, but she is soooo happy. She was so proud of herself, we had to call Katie, her careprovider Tracey, and her Grandma on the way home. Fast forward to 8pm Sunday night. One of her earrings falls out. She was so upset and just hysterically crying. We tried to get it back in, but it hurt to much. You should have seen her face, it was truly sad. We told her to sleep on it, but if she wanted we would take her back Monday night to have the one ear done again. She wasn't going for it - hurt way too much! I then suggest that maybe a Build-a-Bear would make it feel better afterwards. We could care less if she has her ears pierced, she was just so proud of herself before, we didn't want her to be disappointed. Well, Kayla now has her gazillionth Build-a-Bear and both her ears pierced.
Sorry, long story, but Kayla is so happy.
Ughhh . . . the ear piercing.
Sophia is still wearing the original pair she got when they were first pierced. We tried to take them out once so she could wear new ones - after much crying we got them out - but no new ones in. She then wanted them back in that night, but too afraid to do it. We went back and forth for like an hour.
Finally . . . I practically sat on her (yes call child protective services) while Amy put them back in and she carried on. She will probably wear them to her wedding.
I'm not touching those things again!
Exactly Kaylee - it even rolls. John2 and I can lift it sideways to fit it through the X-Ray machine, while V bats her lashes.
Problem solved.

Everyone to whom I sent the survey regarding date, time and venue has responded. Thank you.
I will be pulling together the info and sending you all an email this coming weekend. I am just to brain dead to do it until then!
.
I think for some though bringing one is hard. I will check in the morning and see what I can do!
