Next I need to know if there's still room for 2 left in the hummerzine and I'm going to try to stay at the MCO Hyatt so we'll be right there for the Hummerzine (if there's still room).

Will figure out the rest later....have to get dinner and get Tyler to bed.

More good news! On my way to pick Tyler up from school, I called my student loan lender. After listening to the automated info, I learned I'd probably be eligible for an economic hardship deferral. When I finally spoke with a real person, all she did was ask how many hours a week I work, how much I make per hour, how many people in the house, and told me I qualify for up to 36 months deferral, with 12 months at a time to be up for renewal at the end of each 12 months. She e-mailed me the paperwork and when I submit it, it's effective immediately for this month forward (for 12 months).

Me too. Mine are horrible compared to all of yours. Mine are more scrapbookish!

Don't worry. I think there will be all kinds of door decorations and all great to see and enjoy. Some of mine will be stickers!!

Firstly, thank you all for posting your door signs - I've loved seeing them. Ken, I've sent a PM to request one, thanks.

MORE good news: I used to be a supervisor at a company that scores educational assessment tests (similar to MEAP in Michigan or WASL in Washington) and that's the only job I've ever had that I absolutely loved. I never dreaded going into work. Loved it! But when I worked there, I only worked nights (6-10pm) because Tyler was only 2 and I wasn't ready for him to be in day care full time. My roommate babysat him Mon & Tues nights and he was at his dad's the other weeknights.

When I was ready to work days, they didn't have any availability for the dayshift, and I needed more hours that the night shift could offer, so I moved on. I keep in touch with a couple fellow supervisors still. One of them e-mailed me, telling me she's now working in HR and asked if I happened to be looking to come back to work for them! Well, my pay then was a little bit less than I make now, but not enough to be a big issue (if they would pay me the same rate), and it would be more hours. I'm 32 hours at my current job (which most employers consider full-time), but this former employer is the traditional 40 hours/week, so more hours, even at the lesser pay would be more pay. So I'm thinking of applying there to try to get back in.

OOOOOH! Houseparty.com is doing a Margaritaville party on Memorial Day! I signed up for the Hershey Bliss party but I don't think they picked me because I never heard back. Bummer. I could easily find a bunch of women to come over and sit around eating free chocolate!

We can all come to your party Holly as we'll be in LA that day!!!

Ok an update on my grandmother. She was doing better but now has fluid around her heart. She is awake and alert but still has a trache and feeding tube. She says she just wants to go home. They are taking her to another hospital this week. I spent 2 hrs visitng tonight and she didn't look good. Still keeping our hopes up though.

So sorry to hear this. It does sound like she has had enough, but keep hoping and praying.

Well so far all signs are pointing to a blood clot in his lungs. His oxygen is low, heart rate high and something showing up in his blood count. He is weak. We are now waiting for the stuff you need to drink for a CAT scan

Doesn't sound too good Lisa, but he sure is a tough guy with what he has been through and come through. He must be really low about all this too.

Thanks to all of these people we have 300 lanyards on the way. The company did a close match to the Mickey Head paint chip and we decided to go with black print because the white wasn’t showing up on the green as well. So, now we wait for them to arrive.

I want to thank all of the people who offered to contribute, but we got all the money we needed with these 22 people. Thanks very much to all and they are on the way.

I ordered an extra 80 lanyards, but we’ve had so many additional orders since I ordered the lanyards that we are nearly sold out. So if you haven’t sent me an order form you need to PM me with your email so that I can send it to you.

Good Morning All - did you have a chatty night?

I requested 5122 for all three cruises that I have reserved right now. The only one that I got my room for was Sept 2009. They could not give me my room or a room close by it for Sept 2008 and I can't get any room for this cruise. I even asked them to change the room that I got for Sept 08 and they said they can't do that until closer to the cruise when all the rooms are assigned and they see what's left. That just sounds like a lot of baloney to me. Then for this cruise I still don't have a room number and I'm leaving in 45 more days. It is completely inconvenient when trying to make plans.

I think I am about ready to write that letter. And why did some, like you, get a room on day one and others, like me, did not. I booked this over a year ago, not just recently. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason.

Not sure - I mean perhaps 5122 was already taken, it was a zoo on booking day I heard. Truth be told, this was my second choice, but then I used a T/A and did not try myself. No clue....for "normal" cruises, I have always discussed the room when I booked....

I think we should say to start rallying by 6PM then? My plane gets in a tad after 5PM and I just have to check in and dump my bags. Yes, the area to the left of the lobby. Folks can grab food from the food court/restaurants and we can just do a very casual "come & go" as people arrive that evening. Those who arrive very late should peek into the BAR to see if any of us are still hanging out. (Though I want a good sleep that night as we will have a busy/exciting day ahead of us...hopefully Monica and I won't be up too late chatting...that slumber party syndrome.)...

We don't arrive until about 11PM. We're flying on American and there are only about 4 or 5 flights a day out of ORD for MCO. We're on a 7 PM flight. As it is we'll have to leave the house by 4PM.

I wish we could leave earlier, but the flight before that would probably mean I would have to take yet another vacation day, which I don't want to do.

I'll have to wait until DH gets home because I have no idea how to take pics off the camera! One is just those paint chips in all of our favorite colors with our names on them in a port hole, well a circle made out of construction paper with a blue center. The other thing is like a 12x12 scrapbook page with me and my DH through the years because this is our 10 year anniversary gift to each other. We've actually been married 11 but not when we booked! And I'll have some Disneyland pics in there as well. You guys look like you did everything on the computer, mine is all cut and paste. I got a frame that I wanted to put on there that has a lot of space for people to sign. I wanted to put it on the door but DH wants to let the characters sign it and put a pic of the cruise in it later. What do you guys think?

I say do both - take a color scan of the sign and post it on the door and then let the characters sign the original....
