What am I if I'm 1961 an inbetweener?

kelly you are a boomer by date fact for sure, I'm the last of them at 1964.

I think the descriptions are odd too, I'm an in betweener for sure, but I guess I'm leaning more towards an Xer as I age...

I don't mean to rock the boat but rather keep people informed ---

A very good and reliable friend just came off an 3 day Wonder cruise and reports -

"DCL has decided that no matter how many different addresses, people or whatever type of room you have…. Only ONE Castaway Cay gift period.

Also, the DCL Castway Cay lanyard given at check in no longer had pins."

Since I always share a cabin with someone it now means one of us will go home without the return cruiser gift. That is disapointing. When you have two or more cruisers from different households it is difficult to share the gift. Its a shame too, they make those CC gifts so desirable. There has never been one I didn't want to keep.

I wish/hope they would rethink this new policy.

I would think that when you board if you are in this situtation take your issue to GS and see what if they can do something for you.

Is storytellers a resturant? I thought that it called a lady who read the story with the book :lmao:

Now I realise it is for dinner/meals!!

Anyway, I have send email to dcl about interpreters, meals times and gty!! I have not heard from them yet!!

Nan - I am not sure if I told you before about the dress. Olivia got the dress last saturday and it is lovely dress and I am glad that it was not too tight, wee bit big and nice!! She will wear it on the Cruise:thumbsup2

Can't wait to see it, glad she got it :goodvibes

When do you have to cancel reservations if you decide against them (spa, shore, etc)? I recall last time it said you had to do it before the sailing date, but then I also recall that once on board they said it was no problem to cancel. We are debating the couple villa spa, and I'd like to keep it booked until we board but don't want to get charged cancellation fees. :confused3 Thanks in advance.

Thought I'd repost...might get lost in our thousand of posts!

Look on the bright side, they want everything ship shape before the PC cruise. :thumbsup2
unfortunatly not true, she goes into drydock when she gets back from the west coast and will then get any major repairs done. right now they just want it to be safe to travel on.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Hit B.H., Hollywood, Rodeo Drive. . .or you can have my job (just kidding, love what I do). I get to see a whole different side of the "stars."

What do you do again? So curious! I just love it all. I wish that there was some shows that taped on the week-end, as I would love to do that. I went to see "Taxi" taped during its time. That was exciting!

My colleagues think I'm crazy because I use purple staples which I buy when I'm in the US and can find a Container Store. (It's more the fact that I actually pay for them, I think, than the colour!)

colored staples are more availble now days I think thanks to scrapbooking...I've gotten them at Target too:thumbsup2

I have friend (who is still hoping to take this cruise) who had a dream that we went to sleep after Aruba and ended up in Alaska because the Panama Canal was blocked. So we took the other way around to the west coast and ended up in Alaska. In her dream she was the only one bothered by the detour. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

she knows the cat 4 is open right???

I like the detour btw :thumbsup2

I had posted about scouts as my daughter and nans daughter are scouts. They will try to work on a badge during the cruise but as far as patches go I have seen some cruise fun patches before. Before the cruise I will buy enough patches to cover all the girls I know are going to be onboard so we can present them to the girls during a scout meeting onboard. I think the girls would like that a lot.

Sounds good to me. Thanks everyone for clarifying the difference between patches and badges. We just started so we are new at this.

They do not know what is wrong this time.....seems like his liver is okay. I told you guys he has two drainage bags (I know gross) that I was cleaning and flushing 4 times a day. Well, when I got to the hospital tonight he announces that he had a 3rd bag. He told me he had a colostomy bag now. I was like WHAT?????.

I told him, you need to have an operation to get that type of bag and I know they remove some part of your gut...not too sure what they take out.....anyway I was freaking out...thinking what did this hospital do without permission or what did my DH not TELL me????? He insisted this was what he had.

I went out to find his nurse and sure enough....he was so wrong. He had a catheter ... I was like "Frank ...a catheter and a colostomy bag are two different things!!" He said "You know they both come from about the same place....!!" OMG...MEN!!

Anyway...I am tired ... we are all worn out.....I really need a vacation (WDW is not exactly a vacation!!).....When does this trip leave??

Lisa...you definately need a Vacation and a NURSE!!!

Hey - can this Leo throw her hat in? I'm July 23rd!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh more pushy leos on board!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We went to 2 tapings of the That 70's Show and had a great time at each - very interesting to see.

(We were at the Veteran's Day competing picnics episode and the one where Eric had to go back to gym class and Luke Wilson was the teacher.)

Ok... I figured out what it is with the people over on the 3/1 thread....

Those people would have complained about not getting enough ice in their drinks if they were on the Titanic!!!!
