Regarding things kept in trunks, we also have a sleeping bag.

About video recorders and cameras. I always check Consumer Reports for which ones to buy. It takes the pressure off of me and I have someone else to blame.;)

HAve any of you been following the thread about the Mar. 1st Magic. Holy COW!!!!

First work day of the time change underway. I'm not too cranky.....yet! I did not slap DrHug when I woke up,;) or even disturb him by chatting. So far, so good. :thumbsup2

Morning kids...not enought time to get caught up this AM (I've made it through page 46). I actually did some wash and packed a lunch this AM instead of heading right to the computer. I'll catch up on my lunch break IF you don't all get out of control.

I also saw some quotes of post I hadn't remembered reading. You know, when we're busy and you post you MUST backtract after you post to see what happened while you were typing! :lmao:

Got off the phone with DCL. The cast member told me that
8:00 APL
8:15 PLA
8:30 LAP

Has anyone else called? I am hoping the info is consistent.

This is the rotation I've always found to be true.

DrHug took me to Office Depot and bought a camera for my birthday. :) We got Canon something....1000 I think. :confused3 Thanks for the $50 off tip that was posted here. :flower3:

Goodmorning all,

So I'm back from the mouse house. Here's the update... Steph

But how was the "family" ride home?

Also re: phone charger and glasses case, call the hotel and then PM me with the info including your last name and I can pick it up for you this week.

Had a lovely time with taysmom and edna mode.
Wonderful company, gorgeous weather, and very short to non-existent lines.
Went on the Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones (twice), Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Matterhorn, and Star Tours -- all before 11:30.Woody

... and good mac and cheese. It was a lucky, last minute get together.

Now for everyone going to DL after the cruise just imagine those pictures with 20 times the number of people! :rotfl2:

EXactly!

Well it seems like we are going to need that main contact person afterall. Susie are you still up for volunteering? We would give you the master list and you would take calls from people with changes and then write those changes on a whiteboard outside of your cabin door. If you still want to say yes, please let us know your SR#. If not, it's ok too, no explanation necessary.

Many thanks to Woody and V for letting us know what to be prepared for. This is my 6th DCL cruise, but only my first one with all you DISers. I'm sure it's going to be my favorite one and I can't wait to get it started!

Susie, (SSnyder) who is on our other small thread made 6 cute white boards last year. When everyone had their cabin assignments she designated mid ship white board keepers, so that the master list keeper only has to make the 6 phone calls and the white board keeper changes the signs. There were changes throughout the cruise last year. This worked beautifully. She is on this cruise and may do it again. I'll send her a PM.

I like living in the country for this reason. We never got this many pretty birds in the city. We get Cardinals, Blue Jays, Titmouse, a woodpecker and several other pretty, small birds. Occasionally we even get Finches. Usually the Grackles and Crows stay away from the feeder but yesterday I had a hard time keeping them out so that the prettier birds could eat. Apparently they liked the fact that our feeder is kind of enclosed. Most of the neighbors have feeders that are more open.

We are so loaded with birds right now! We have doves that come back every year to have their babies and hummingbirds all over the yard.

Okay gang, give. How do you change the color or look of the pins on the Google Map? :confused3

Carol

Click on your entry, scroll up click on edit, then in your entry box click on the pin, a window will open with all kinds of pins/icons. Don't for get to save and re-open the window, the refresh method is not working for me, to see the change.

Hello all!

my DH and I sailed on the east bound transatlantic last May.
Is anyone doing lanyards for this trip?
Please let me know if I can help in any way.
Warm regards,
Cynthia

WE remember you, Cynthia! So glad you are on this cruise too!

:hippie: Connie

Deb,

If we had a whiteboard on someone's door, updates could be posted. Also, any scheduling changes could be posted there, such as the time or location of the group DIS picture. Linda could say in the Mini Nav, "For updates, see the whiteboard at cabin ####."

Woody

HEY WOODY! I just HAPPEN to have a DCL white board I got as a gift! Wouldn't that be GREAT to put updates on? I volunteer my cabin door! Connie

Where is this map, it sounds fun. Is it on the website.

Our flight got pushed back more! Not arriving now until 10:48pm on the 9th! Wow that is late. We will be some tired but happy folks on the morning of the 10th!
Lisa

For anyone who has schedule changes on their flights - you can always call your TA or airline and let them know the new time won't work and they will change you w/o charge - this does depend on the difference tho.

For example - if you were scheduled to leave at 10a in at 2p and now the flight leaves at 2p in at 7p AND they have another flight that gets you in closer to your original time (even if it leaves earlier) then you can request a change.

HTH!

My DH has seen two Robins in the last two days but the hummingbirds, etc. haven't migrated back yet. Can't wait, we get a lot of humming birds and I love those too. The Cardinals and Blue Jays do brighten up the winter months, though.

Just read your link. What is with people anyway? I guess it is just a lot of the ME generation all grown up. Thank goodness the generation before and after aren't like that as much.

Carol

I was at a Hospital wide staff meeting the other day. They were talking about the demographics of the staff; Baby Boomers, Gen X and Milennials.

It was very enlightening and explained alot about the feeling of entitlement amongst Gen X and Millennials.

Hey Marilyn,
My birthday is the 23rd--of May. I'll be 59! You can let me know when I meet you what I have to look forward to!

Coincidence!! My birthday is 23rd May also - and I'll be 39!!!

Birthday drinks on the way!!!

Leanne

Well, that makes 3 of us May 23rd babies on this cruise. I'll be 36. It's just one big celebration!

I can't believe that thread. Demanding a refund and threatening to sue for missing CC?
