Happy to share and have you be part of it with us, Angel. Well, it's finally here.....our champagne girls tasting is today at 4pm. I will post lots of pictures of the event for you tonight. Hi Karen and Angel,

The Champagne Girls tasting was outstanding! I will update you with pictures soon. I could not do it after the event yesterday because the internet on the ship was down until a few minutes ago. I don't want to take the time right now to do it because we're in the locks going thru the canal and I have so many great pictures to post for you. So please be a little patient and it will be worth it.

Having a great PC crossing day today. It really is amazing. I will get back to you as soon as we cross over to the other side......providing the internet is still working.

I hear there were problems with the Panama Canal webcam today and people thought it might be down. The webcam did not crash. We actually were soooooo lucky and got to go through the canal with a United States Submarine all day! There were at least 6 security boats with the sub and two guys on the front with machine guns through the whole transit. I got some pictures, but of course, can't post til I get home.

The webcams were taken down when the sub was in the locks and we were just right behind the sub, thus our delay for the transit through the canal....guess the US Government has more clout than Mickey!

Also, because of the heightened security, the helicopter had to be cancelled and Shutters was not able to take arial pictures of the Magic in the canal. My guess is Shutters will probably put up some of the arials from 2005 with the 2008 date on them.

Okay, I'm headed to lobster dinner!

YIKES!! We're on page 2! It's been a long time since THAT happened!

Today was a fantastic day! Humid, hot, but not as hot as I'd feared it would be. The trip through the canal was fascinating. There was commentary over the loudspeakers, deck party, lots of fun, people on the shore waving and honking their horns at "Mickey's Ship". I am SO GLAD I made this trip!

Peg, I don't know if Jackie's journaling or not...

Karen, the Champagne Girls party was a blast and your video was excellent. Too bad you missed me in my Tink outfit, but there will be pictures posted, don't worry!

Angel, thanks for the magnet! Marilyn passed them out to us!

Today has been a really nice day--translate that as "Not much going on compared to other days"!

I held Homework Club this morning, had a nice lunch at Lumier's, went to hear Ducky Williams speak and am now relaxing at Quiet Cove on a big double lounge chair, looking out at an amazingly calm sea. Tonight is Twice Charmed and Semi-Formal night.

Life is good!!!!!

We are getting an unbelieveable amount of gifts in our fish extenders all day everyday.

We did Palo high tea today and are looking forward to seeing another sunset over the pacific tonight......a new sight for me.

Wishing Peg and Noel and Karen and Angel were here with us. You are all greatly missed and thought of often.

Another day at sea tomorrow then on to Acapulco to see the cliff divers.

It's hard to believe that we have been here a week already. It flew by and only feels like a couple of days. Thankfully we have another week to go.

Tonight is semi-formal so time to go get ready!
