Bargain Alert

OK this is my bargain alert for today. Amazon has a pretty deep discount on a Philips digital frame. It is $49, which is a $100 discount.

I got this about a month or so ago, after I realized how much I liked seeing our photos on Mrs Bennett.

This Philips frame is terrific and our photos look great. I love the idea that our hundreds and hundreds of digital photos are no longer frozen on a computer.

I think somebody mentioned this long ago, but I've forgotten. Can anybody tell me a kids' sunscreen for VERY sensitive skin? ALL sunscreen we've tried so far makes Tyler itch like crazy, and he can't ever go without because he's very very fair.

I am not. I need to lay everything out on the bed and get the clothes figured out but my 16 year old is asleep in my bed at the moment. I am just panicked about packing. LOL. I need to repot a bunch of plants too. What am I going to do? lol.

HAHA. I'm basically packing enough for each day so no laundry is needed. Of course then there's all that champagne and goodies! And my fish extender gifts are in the rolling tote all alone!

I think I have enough shirts for everyone and we'll have to wear the bottoms twice. Brooke is wearing mostly dresses and she has 15 but she also has a few shorts outfits.

Checking in.

The water heater died over the weekend. It sprung a small leak and made a bit of a mess in the basement (we have an unfinished basement, so not a big deal). I now have a brand new water heater. I could have done without that surprise expense but thank goodness it didn't happen while we were on vacation.

Been there - done that.....have the rust stains to prove it. BUT, at least it did not happen on vacation and soak up the floor.....

What are you taking? I thought I over packed. Oh no what else do I need?

We have one 29 inch suitcase with our formal and theme clothes (DH and I)
We have one 26 inch with the rest of our clothes
And one duffle with our dive gear.

Our carry on is packed with wine and essentials. DH is carrying the camera and reg bag. I have the backback and ????

Oh yes, and we are checking a box of stuff.....the books, craft supplies, essentials etc. So I guess it is really a 4th suitcase, but we are not taking it home. Our carryon will become our 4th checked bag on the way back for all our on-board purchases etc.

Okay ... how did I fall 40 pages behind in a day (especially since so many are packing/leaving)???

I'm off for "one more trip" to Walmart ... then plan to "relax" over a late lunch with my crew.

Have I mentioned HOW MUCH FUN I am having ... even tho' my kids have been the right age for a few years, this is definitely the first time I have packed with/for TEENAGERS!! At least my girls, my son is pretty easy.

The girls and I just got in from having our pedis and do we look CUTE!!

Will try to find time this afternoon to catch up ... getting REALLY EXCITED!!
