Just got tix for The Steve Miller Band with spec. guest Joe Cocker ,Aug 7th. Should be good and these are two Ive never seen live.

I saw SMB in HS...but....ummmmm..... I don't really remember them! I think they are coming up here this summer too, would love to see them again...what I do remember, it was a great show!

REM is going to be in concert here while we are on the cruise, so that is what I am missing...but I think the cruise will surpass a REM show ...although it will be the only tour that I have not seen of theirs.

Do you think people will take the time to make those type of youtube videos for this PC crossing? I know there were a ton of them last time because it was the first time...but I would love to have some for the memories!

Ok, so I am talking to myself....guess I scared everyone away...BUT, I am......













80% packed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just need to run to the store to get a few last minute things and actually put Jaide's stuff into the suitcase. We ended up with 6 suitcases (most carry on size) and 4 carry on bags....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than Scott wanted, but oh well. It is done, 3 are zipped and I am happy girl....I am going on vacation in 5 sleeps!!!

by the way, Marilyn, have a safe trip and see you in a few days!

I have to miss my two favorites, Kid Rock and Sammy Hagar. The good news is that I have to miss them because I am going to be on this great cruise when they are in town.

Van Halen - Sammy - well they are my ALL TIME FAV...Like Kid Rock, even with the greasy hair.

I would love to download the cd to my dd's ipod, but some of the songs aren't appropriate...what do you think. She usually just listens to miley cyrus or soldja boy over and over again...I don't think I'll be running a risk, plus, I could load it today and she probably wouldn't even notice the cd on the ipod.

I know the concern...Jaide keeps begging for me to put the Fergie album on her iPod, but I don't own the "censored" version and she doesn't understand why. If Taylor is at all like my kids, all they can talk about or think about is the cruise and they have no idea what is missing anymore because it is all packed

Van Halen is one of my fave too. They started in my home town.(pasadena) My uncle used to tell me about this awesome band that would play at garage parties that he was going to. Turned out it was Van Halen. Venetia didn't think she knew who Steve Miller was. Her friend lent her a cd. She knew 90% of the songs!!

That would be a great idea! I always forget about the video option on our cameras...we don't own a video camera anymore and just do the ones on our digital cameras. I do hope someone takes the time to capture the pics from the PC webcams though.

Holly, we'll have our iBook and a card reader that reads every memory card in the universe, include those from the Orion Galaxy.

You can always burn a CD with our iBook.

My last WW meeting for the month of May today! Almost on vacation (if it weren't for the other 5 days of work this week).

We arrive at MCO late on Friday and are staying at the Hyatt in the airport.

Any volunteers to bring us our coffee and hot cocoa?

I SOOOOOO wish we were staying at the Hyatt. Would be so much easier than taking the shuttle to our hotel at night, then getting up and taking the shuttle back to the Hyatt in the morning to catch the Hummerzines. Oh well.......the price was right, so it works.

I love VH. Love love love them........more so Sammy! I love SM as well. VH is my ALL time fav...HUGE memories there.


One great thing about my performing high school - we were made to listen to EVERYTHING....and I really have a taste for most everything.
