Hi all....small update on our arrival to WDW...via US Airways

So last night, we got on our plane and taxi'd out and the plane stopped...the steering broke! Needless to say, they couldn't rebook anything last night and vouchered us at a local hotel for a 6am flight this morning. (ps got to hotel @ 11pm, left at 4:30am) go back to Oakland Airport for 6am flight...cancelled maint. issues! OMG! So basically, we are NOT going to WDW today, since we will not be in orlando until 8pm this evening. AND we are now leaving out of SFO instead of Oakland. Tay and I are sitting in the Airport, waiting for our 9am flight and very tired. I am not sure what we will do tomorrow, since we only have 1 day in the park, I am leaning towards buying the P&P Tickets now so we can at least go to MK until 11pm?!?

I'm glad we had planned to visit WDW, because if this had happened on friday, we wouldn't be on the cruise right now!

Alrighty then, off to check out my email. Cya all there!

Oh my, my. I was already freaking out at our late arrival. Last cruise we had bad luck times 3 make that 4 with the hurriciane we were in. This time I hope things work out for us. Life is full of one adventure after another.

we have a stray peacock living in our neighbors tree. No one knows where he came from or how long he'll be around, but he has been wandering the neighborhood....took 15 minutes to get out of the driveway yesterday because he was walking down the middle of it and wouldn't move for me. Boy those birds can jump! I am sure he'll be gone by the time we get home, but he is fun to see around for now.

I like seeing all the posts now because our trip tickers are just so tiny....only 2 days until we set sail! Less than 24 hours and I'll be on my way

GOOD MORNING to those who are still here eagerly awaiting the start of this amazing adventure!

I can't believe that I have to work today!!! Don't people know that I won't be worth ANYTHING today???? (if I had the time to take believe I wouldn't be here)

I am getting a car rental tonight to return to MCO tomorrow. Will be hitting the ABC store tonight on my way home (it's open til 11pm). Need to do 1 more run to Walmart and need to go get my hair cut tomorrow. Will be packing tomorrow am too.....went through all the clothes last night so everything is ready to go into the suitcase. Printed out my forms last night and got my camera bag ready (with both regular and underwater cameras) and my new backpack (THANKS AGAIN FOR THAT TIP!) with everything but my cpap machine. Got all the cables and charges together.

If I have the time I want to go to the library to get some reading material. I have some books at home but I want paperbacks.

Monica - do your have to work tomorrow, on Friday or are you off?

You still bringing Sukie and me our coffee and hot cocoa? Seriously, what are you doing for breakfast on Saturday morning?

Silly me. I am so excited that I put on the Travel Channel's DCL program which I have on DVR. I've only seen it who knows how many times.

They have a loud sound they make. They use to have some at the Ft. Wilderness Campground. I don't know if they still have them there are not. They may have close down the petting farm. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Woody - I'm assuming your gone and that your flight goes smooth as silk.

For all those leaving with little sleep - I crashed last night. Finally got to be at 1 am and slept like a log for over 10 hrs. Finally woke up at 11:38 TODAY! I could have have gotten back to sleep - after all its only 8:38 back home. Oh well, glad I'm oversleeping here and not on the ship.

Seriously all, I feel for those that haven't had any sleep - please get some on the plane and most of all -

Is anyone on the East Coast not leaving until after 1 pm tomorrow or on Sat? Our ditch certificates were lost in their computers for the past several weeks! They've now found our order but to overnight it from Virginia to OR would be over $50!

So can anyone help me? I would really appreciate it!!! They can even overnight it to a WDW hotel if anyone would get it for me!!!

I'm not leaving until Saturday morning. I'm in MD so even ground would get here tomorrow.
