Hello fellow cruisers. Do you tip tour guides on excursions and how much if you do.?

We do. The amount depends on the amount of service they provide and the length of the tour. A couple of dollars for a bus driver. A bit more, around 5, for tour guide that gives us info about the area. This would be for the bus tours about 3-4 hours. We did a catamaran in St Marteen that included a bar and sandwiches. We tipped around 10 for that since there was some drinks poured, sandwiches made, great fun and music.

Quarters, we have started saving them already!:laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy: :laundy:
We'll be doing LOTS of laundry!

Thanks Connie! I'll be sure to have some extra money for laundry then. The last time we were in Panama it was so hot, we were ready to take a shower and change clothes by lunchtime. I'll run out of stuff REALLY quickly that way!

That amount is about what we have tipped in the past. Never been on one where food was involved though. I'm glad you pointed that out. Thanks.

I'm expecting to get through a lot of clothes with it being hot and humid so I will need to do laundry at least once, ptobably twice. I just hope I am not spending all the time walking to and from the laundry room waiting for an empty washer.:confused3

Wow, when I was napping I had a dream about Ian & Sukie! :rotfl:

I want the packing cubes and those folders things, but they are expensive up here still. I will get them on a trip to buffalo for my next airline trip.

I know a lot of airports also carry his stuff - good luck!

I heartily recommend the ones that eBags makes, They are MUCH cheaper than Sierra's and really very well made.

Here's a link for eBags cubes:
