I plan on wearing my suit for one of the formal nights. That might change depending on my mood and I might just end up wearing my tux for both formal nights which meant I brought my suit for no reason. I wore the suit for formal night on the 4 day cruise you see pictured below.

Because we are taking a garment bag for the tux, it really isn't that big of a deal to just add an extra jacket and pants.

Good enough reason to take it then!!!!

I am thinking that if for some reason the rented tux isn't right then at least John has his suit. If he doesn't bring it and the tux looks awful then he is stuck with it.

ABSOLUTELY! And he's so excited because he's been patiently hoping to return to the ship for almost 2 years now. His dad told me Tyler had a hard time falling asleep last night because he was so excited about getting his orange belt today, just imagine how excited he'll be the night before we leave for the cruise!

It is so lovely he is so excited Holly.

You know, that was my assumption too, so I'm looking for the manual because I can't find anything in the on-screen menu selection about that. It's a Panasonic Lumix, DMC-LS75. I love everything else about it because it's 7.2megapixels and takes great pictures. I've only had it a few months, so it's not like it's too old to record sound with the video....I can't figure it out.

I'm not the best with technology though, so I do need to find the manual and see what I can figure out.

I can't seem to find anything out about it NOT being able to record sound, so my assumption is that it can. Have you downloaded video to your computer with it? And if you have, did it have no sound there either? Or is it just not showing you any sound when you play it back on the camera?

Sorry if you have already tried this stuff.. Just testing a few things out.

I just found a few reviews where people have said to "Beware - this camera has no audio with video".

Guess that answers the question. It doesn't have any sound ability. Sorry.

Oh crap! Thanks for searching for that info. Oh well.....at least I learned not to assume all cameras can do this and will remember to check carefully when I shop for my next camera.

I like the ziploc idea. Might have to head out today and pick some up. I might just steal that idea. Of course some of the essential electronic stuff will be in my camera bag as I don't want them to go missing if my luggage goes missing.

As for instruction manuals, the only one I am taking is the one for my new camera as there are still many features on there that I haven't tested yet.

We are big fans of ziploc packing.....I never travel without them anymore. And it is great for electronic supplies, homework stuff for the girls, supplements/meds, creams and hair stuff, gifts etc. My suitcase is always full of ziplocs....

Well, we finally have some sun here, so yardwork it is. I survived last nights webkinz fiasco, but it was crazy. We got there at 420, the event started at 500. There were 25 people in front of us in line already. By the time they started the night I would say there were 100+ people there. When we left at 600 there were about 150-200 people there!!!! Webkinz did one great marketing ploy on this one!

I can't wait to see that movie! I've been holding out, waiting for the cruise.

Did I miss anything major in the last thread? Didn't catch much of it. With the bracelets, I'm hoping we can get ours at the port. We don't get into the Hyatt until I think 11pm. Straight to bed right away! Can anyone confirm that the porters at the Hyatt will go get your luggage from baggage claim? I read that somewhere.

We got 24 luggage tags from DCL! Wow, that would be a lot of luggage. We are getting things ready for our day trips, and we are thinking about bringing some thermas to fill with soda/milk for the day trips. Has anyone done that? I think I'll buy some small paper cups to take with us. I just made reservations for the Westin in PV. $60 plus 4000 points! Great deal. We will taxi it straight there and spend the day at the hotel, swimming in the pool and beach.

Gydell, what time is your lunch reservation again in ACA? We have it at 1:30pm. Hope that is the right time. I have to remember to bring my email with me.

I think the only place the kids will snorkel will be CC. And we will rent the stuff there, as opposed to lugging our stuff. Anyone doing the same?

Busy day today - 2 birthday parties, 2 baseball games, and one tired mom!

I got a dress! It is black and has an empire waist with a cross over top and small white dots spaced way out, it come to just below the knees. Look great from the front, the back is not going to be helped out from any clothes, lol.

I got two really light shawl sweaters, one white and one black will just switch those out for formal and semi.

John is renting a tux and taking a suit for semi formal and Palo's. He was wondering this week why he is taking a suit. I thought a tux might be too much for semi formal and Palo though. If we end up cancelling Palo dinner then I guess he needn't take his suit. What do you think??

Maybe a sports jacket would work for semi formal. Connie
