This is my countdown at the moment.

9 days, 22 hours, 55 minutes, 51 seconds.

:dance3:

We leave in 6 days! I started dragging clothes into the spare room yesterday. I will wash the ones that have been hanging for awhile today and get them into the suitcases. My brother is coming Tues evening to bring my mom back and will be spending the night. Then Thursday my sister is coming and will be staying thru the weekend. So, with the added company my time the last couple of nights will be limited. I did enlist my sis to take us to the airport on Friday. :thumbsup2 Now to find someone to give us a ride home.

John is renting a tux and taking a suit for semi formal and Palo's. He was wondering this week why he is taking a suit. I thought a tux might be too much for semi formal and Palo though.:confused3 If we end up cancelling Palo dinner then I guess he needn't take his suit. What do you think?

The tux comes with 2 shirts. Most who rent them wear them both formal and semi-formal. But remember on this trip we have 3 dress up nights, right?

I don't know some folks on the closed thread said they were going commando. :lmao:

HHHMMM. Seems there is two interpretations of going commando. The posts I read were about how one would tackle seeing DL and DCA in 2 days. :lmao:

Wow 6 days. Now that is exciting and scary!

Our son is coming all the way over to take us to the airport hotel a couple of hours away on the Monday. We fly back to a different airport 4+ hours away, so a sales rep from Johns business is booking a few appointments close by and picking us up. If that falls apart we will hire a one way car rental back home and John will have to drive!

You're not the first person who told me they were not sending their "smalls" out for laundering. Is there something I'm missing? Is someone going to steal my underwear?

:lmao: Some folks just are a bit shy and don't want other folks seeing their undies! ;)

Is it going to appear in a stage production?

Yes, haven't you heard? It's a special musical created just for the WB Repo. :cool1:

It's called "Mickey and the Magical Knickers" :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

ok a cruise question - anyone doing the dolphin thingy - my son really wants to do it but at 189 each is it something they will never forget? is it really worth $800 for us to do as a family?

Any thoughts?

of course if I do decide to do it I need to be drinking so I can use that as an excuse for booking it :cool1:

I'm doing it in acapulco with my dd. On our last mexico cruise, alot of our party did it and had a great time. We passed as my dd was 7 and a little scared. She still regrets that decision.

It's her suprise bday present too...so ssshhhh

I might need a female friend to go see Enchanted with!! Don't think John will go. Could go on my own i suppose.

Two formal and one semi-formal. So semi-formal doesn't need to be as dressy, of course.

I couldn't resist buying one more formal dress for Ballroom night. I got a new one this week on sale at Dillard's. My biggest problem now is packing everything. I'm not packing anything special for Mexican night, but we have outfits for formal nights, Pirate night, and tropical night. I haven't given much thought to the rest of the evenings. With 9 other nights to dress for dinner, you'll definitely be seeing me in outfits more than once.

I'm going to ask our son in law. He loves me and if DD does not have too many honeydos for him he will gladly come get us. :thumbsup2 I just need to remember to call and ask him.

If only there were some folks going on this cruise who enjoy Disney movies so you could have someone to go with. :rotfl: ;) I definitely want to see that movie again. Even my two boys liked it, but I think their favorite part was all the critters cleaning the bathroom. Of course. :)

Ah yes, I thought Angie had found another formal night I hadn't noticed!!!

I will be wearing clothes more than once too.

Don't we have formal, semi-formal and dancing under the stars or something?? Did I dream this? I have 3 sort of formal outfits ready????

Yes Angie, sorry I was confused - see above reply!!!!

Hehe, do you think there will be a Disney movie loving person onboard then?

Holly was going to do the late night showing of POTC with me because no way would John stay up that late(not sure I will make it actually). But Tyler is coming now so her late nights are severely cut short!

My DH fell asleep at the cinema when it first came out and then said the movie was "OK" at the end! :rotfl2:

I'm sure I'll be going to see it (again) as DD6 loves it and thinks it's hilarious! :cutie: You can always join us if you want to - I'm sure it'll be a great girlie event! :thumbsup2 Although I'm afraid to tell DD in advance that Enchanted will be showing on the ship, because then she'll want to bring her dress! :scared: Don't think I'll be able to fit it into the suitcase though! :guilty:

OH my gosh, I so lost it on this. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks for all the input on gifts for CMs. I didn't think about giving the candy at the beginning of the cruise--great idea. :thumbsup2 That way the CMs can enjoy it right away and I have one less thing cluttering up my room. There is a candy shop right here that makes the most wonderful chocolates. I think I'll get some of those since they come from our hometown. The boys can make a card to go with them and give to the kids club CMs on the first day.

I think I'll do gift cards for the end of the cruise. Much easier to carry.
