Morning all,

I see all our UK friends have received their docs :cool1:

Have seen nothing from our Aussie friends as of yet?

My docs should be delivered to Sicklerville, NJ sometime today as they have been routed through Orlando, Jacksonville, Secausus (NJ), Lawnside (NJ):surfweb:

Who plans these routes up????:confused3

We plan to go into quarantine mode next Friday ....what does everyone else do to keep everybody healthy

Good Afternoon Everyone (time 12.03)

I took Olivia to the doctor this mornng as she was nervous and I told her not to worry. Doctor checked it and said that she had got insect bites. Olivia said she had been on the grass and played the football at school lunch times.

Could be that. No cream, no antiboites (sorry cannot spell that), nothing just leave it as the big spot was down this morning so can see yellow spot. Doctor said if leak bring her back. (i hope not)!!

I relieved now not chicken pox or impetigo.

I had not good sleep last night, worry lots of things. Stress gulp.

My husband had been big argument with his horrible boss. He told my husband that he sack him. then after that his boss cool down and laugh off. My husband said to me he cannot wait to see his face next week when he hand his notice.

Now I thought myself oh positive as Cruise is two weeks tomorrow :cool1: :cool1:

And it is FRIDAY   but I am working tonight huh lol.

Us EBounders will be waiting for your reports, photos, tips and hints, shore excursion thoughts, navigators etc

Switched shopping to Amazon. Target doesn't have everything I need. I have batteries on my list but have no idea why...I can't think of anything I need batteries for. Cameras all have charges...kids gameboys don't need batteries. Am I missing something?

Well, you do need AA batteries for your pink mickey head bobble thingies that I am bringing.......Connie

My sis bought one too. I can't imagine needing anything in it besides band aids so that's all I'm bringing.

Oh, I am a virtual walking medicine store....I'll have triple antibiotic ointment, benedryl ointment, hydrocortisone ointment, athelete's foot ointment and powder, After Bite, a BIG selection of Bandaids, Tylenoi, aspirin, ibuprophren, vitamins, etc etc etc etc.

Yes, they grill lovely steaks, fish, chicken to order at the adult beach. Also there's tons of fruit. It's very nice.

Ah yummmmm. Remember when they used to grill lobster tails? Yum!! I love the fruit! I eat far too much on that island...and it's only day 2. Hmm, I will have to exercise..."just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming..." <insert whale speak here>

I just found you guys!!! I am new to this message boarding thing. I am so bummed I didn't know about you all till now. Am I too late to join in on DIS fun?
We are SO EXCITED about our trip! I can't believe it's been over a year since we booked it thru Costco. Best deal around!
We are in Cat 9 rm #1076.
First time with DCL for:
Myself- Andi 40 (I don't look it, I don't act it, so I must not be!)
DH Bob 46 (He acts it.)
DS Kenny turns 11 on May 21st!,
DD Nikki 7 (She acts it too!)

I grew up in Burbank with my mom working for the Studio. Visited DL at least once a year and then worked there from '90-'95. We are now in Chino about 35 minutes from DL.

Can't wait to meet you all!

You might not see this, since you are a "left coaster", but

Welcome!

Did anyone see this

"DeLAND, Fla. -- A giant cloud of thousands of bees mysteriously appeared and began to swirl in a "tornado pattern" around a Central Florida Mexican restaurant."

yes, it was on the news last night. A beekeeper from Deland came and cut down the branch and took the swarm home with him.

All is well in Florida again!

then you can look back at the black and white picture - that is my son on the left but it is my nephew on the right - they favor each other so much it is scarey - he is 4 in this picture and this was the first time we got to see him - you see he is MY half-brother's son - yet he looks so much like my son it wild - and my son looks so much like my hubby - people who see the picture think I put two of my son's pictures together to create one - but I did not.

My daughter put her side to side with her 1st. cousin. They look like identical twins. Amazing. I hadn't seen our neice in 20 years. We had to attend a family funeral and I had to do a triple take and still I kept thinking she was my daughter. My daughter was arriving later that day. The only way I could tell them apart was the different hair styles.

Thank you very much. We will all be very jealous of you in August!!!

Well I have a full medicine chest too, but I know where to come for that one thing I forgot!!!:rotfl:

I am wee bit panic as Olivia got huge 6 yellow spots at her back.:scared1:

I phoned doctor and made an appointment for tom morning and I hope it is not chicken pot. I am praying it is not because she had it before.

I came home from work and I had another look at it and she said no pain, no sore, no itch?

I think it look like impetigo?? I feel a bit down now.

Scottishwee35:sad1:

Oh I do hope it's nothing serious, fingers crossed for the doctor's appointment - best of luck:thumbsup2 .

I'm ok but busy with Dr appointments and last minute shopping. Brent's been sick so that's not helping. 13 more days for us! I have to pick up 1 more packing folder today after my mamogram and ultrasound. I'm hoping to finish packing this weekend so I can get my house back in order since we have someone staying here while we are gone.

Speaking of sandwiches, I am eating hot honey on a biscuit. KFC, it's what's for dinner.

Mmmm, I love KFC biscuts.

ok, just wanted to share my exciting nursing news!! some of you might remeber that I started nursing school in January, well today I feel like I've actually learned something---I got to do a foley catheter on some one!!!!!! super exciting if you're learning, kinda gross if not. but even though my prof makes me feel like a 6 year old who just wet the bed, I didn't really screw it up, even though she was standing over my shoulder!!!!

man I've missed being gabby on here with you guys, but in 15 short days I get to meet all of you!! hope you haven't forgotten me in the meantime!!!

sorry for all the exclamations, but it's been a pretty good day!

How exciting!!

Watching Lost. Of course I won't give any spoilers, but I've had 2 HOLY CRAP moments so far while watching! WOW! It's a good one tonight!

Holly- I literaly bit off all my nails watching Lost last night!

You know why they changed the time? Silver Seas cruises recently missed their allotted time slot for going through the canal and had to go through the canal in the DARK! I personally do not want to go through the canal at Night time. I am just fine with them changing the time to earlier that way we don't miss our time and have to go to the end of the line that day like Silver Sea's. It was in the USA today paper and the Telegraph.co.uk.

That's very strange actually. Under the old rules, cruise ships weren't allowed to transit the canal at night. It's not unusual for ships to change times from their last port (in our case Aruba) close to cruise time, when they get official notice as to when they need to arrive for the transit, but crossing the canal at night is VERY unusual for a passenger ship. I'm sure that's why the news made it into USA today. I'm going to research this a little more now!

I'm not ready to sleep yet! I'm just getting the hang of this messaging thing.

I forgot to mention-- WELCOME to the board!!

Good Morning All......

It is Friday - FRIDAY --- Friday.....

TWO WEEKS UNTIL CRUISE VACATION....

OMG, I'm totally excited today. We're coming down the home stretch now. I'm definitely packing this weekend! Olivia woke up this morning, asked me if we were going on the place to "Di-NEE" and then started singing "happy birthday."

You guys are killing me though. I was just on here last night and wound up like 35 pages behind!! I can't believe we're almost ready for a new thread again too!

We went with Disney - one advantage is you can check your luggage on board.....Not sure how that works but there is a new coupon in my travle docs that says it will work for selected Airlines.

Good Luck.

Thanks.

As we went through a TA for DCL and made separate flight booking from UK, we will ask them to make arrangements.

Enjoy the cruise:)
