At some point during the DIS meet last weekend (Venetia, was it you at breakfast, or did I dream it?) said that the Hyatt folks are gathered together and put of the first bus. Can anyone verify that?

Of course, I'll be in the Hummer with the COOL PEOPLE! (royalty even).

I called her on the phone at about 12:00 and it was the first time that I have ever heard her voice. I told her she didn't sound like I thought she would sound, I'm expecting Ariel you know! I think that's what started it, right Nan? I did have a few drinks. We went to Hooters, remember?

This thread has helped me get to know people who will be cruising with me and I like it. I now know who I will get along with best and whom I might just avoid on the ship. That would not have happened if this thread was all business and no play. I know we all have our little cliques day/night East/West sandwich eaters/Vegetarians so be it I like the thread and they will have to drag me away......

Now a bunch of people might not read this since I posted it but maybe someone else will respond thus reposting it under their name and trick others into reading it.

Yes, we have been chatty and fast moving from the very beginning, but as of late there is an entirely different feel to the thread. It is essentially a chat room at night. (day too now!)

I don't care one way or the other, as a long time poster it doesn't bother me, if I was new however it would seem more like a club to me.

Now, however instead of skipping over the night time chatter it will be the day time chatter too, and I have a feeling that since it's been mentioned it will now be even moreso, kind of like your parents when they tell you not to do something!


I may have a resolution for those of you who can’t keep up; almost a year ago we began a thread for those of us who were on the TA and Med cruise together. We have lost several of our original folks and gained some great new folks, but it is for slow pokes. We’ve only posted 28 pages in a year, but we’ve all kept in touch and asked questions when needed. Those of you who need something slow to ask questions you are more than welcome to pop on by and say hello. PS: I do post the morning song of the day there as well.

I think this might be my first post on part 13 Trying to catch up, missed tons but...just wanted to say that while I'm having a hard time keeping up...life still just getting in the way LOL...I never resent the chatter on this thread, I find it comforting It is really a special thing to find so many friends, and lots that have not even met each other yet, that have bonded and are eagerly awaiting to share a once in a lifetime dream vacation! Lots on here do chatter a lot , but everyone always steps up and answers any question put to them about this cruise...and all are free to post questions at any time. I know I don't post as often as I'd like, but you have always made me feel welcome and answered any of my newbie questions (newbie to a cruise, not to this thread ) I can hardly wait to meet everyone in JUST OVER TWO WEEKS

We have 5 bags packed so far. Looking at a sixth. Possibly adding a 7th but only to lighten the bigger bags not add more stuff (right Shannon??).

Each of us will also be taking a carry-on for the plane.

Only 5 bags, 1 garment bag and carry-ons. The extra bag is coming empty, just in case we need to buy souvenirs

With first & last name, and cabin or ressie # you can call DCL and add OCB to anyones cabin and DCL will leave a small note in their room with the details.

The mini nav's will have first names only and stateroom numbers and a NEMO fish by their stateroom number if they are participating in the fish exchange.
