Time to get a post in on this thread! Counting down the work-days left until the trip. Customer complaint came in at work today - one of the managers was strongly suggesting they should send me to visit the customer. In my head I was screaming NOOOO I can't take 2 or 3 days to go visit a customer, I've got too much to do to get ready for this trip!

Time to go to bed - I came on here, meaning to just check it out for 10 minutes, but next thing I know, 40min has gone by. This is like a black hole - if I start I can't stop

But all the sewing is relaxing, right? Black hole is right. I hope our DHs don't meet. Mine will say "she hasn't done a thing" and yours will say "really, mine made clothes and worked"!

We're at $3.69 tonight... BUT lots of stations around here put in ethanol and even though it doesn't get as good mileage, it's only going for $2.75 so some are using it..

Hey, guess what a co-worker did for me last Thursday? She gave me a nice card that has some gushy talk about somebody like me making the workplace special, yadda yadda yadda, and inside she put a $25 Disney gift card for me to take on the cruise! She told me to make sure I use it on myself and have a few BBCs on her! VERY nice of her!!!

Planky's human counterparts sent me one as well along with a beautiful Journal to record my travels in...

All for babysitting the crankmeister for a month!!!

(Brenda said Planky picked out the Journal himself... he does have a soft side..)

And tomorrow is secretary's day, so we'll probably get our annual crappy $20 gift card to the mall. Better than a kick in the head, but much smaller firms do things like a dozen roses plus catered lunch or $50 cash. I big fat raise would sure be nice!

Well, my administrators took off for overseas... so I imagine the Hallmark moments don't stretch over there... This means I can forget Bosses day too!!!

I hear thin mints calling my name from the kitchen now! I need to freeze the last 2 boxes so they are out of sight - out of mind!!!

Its not like you aren't on here much!!!

Mainly just sensory overload. We're still trying to figure out the whole sensory processing disorder. Like, if somebody accidentally brushes against him in line, to him it feels like that kid pushed or hit him. That's just one example though. It will take a long time to figure it all out and for him to realize that he senses things differently. Well, he knows things are different for him, but he's got a long road of therapy to figure out how and what to do with himself in certain situations.

Today was bad for a couple hours because there was a guest teacher for 2 hours while his teacher had a meeting. He can't handle change very well so they weren't mad at him because they understand that.

I think the school seems well clued into Tyler's problems if the guest teacher knew how to deal with him. This doesn't seem to happen always here.

My travel agent called me this afternoon and needed tshirt sizes for the cruise. They are giving us all a tshirt as a gift.

All his clients on the cruise will also be receiving an invitation to his suite for a client party during the cruise. Last time he was either in the Walt or Roy Suite, I don't remember, but it was a real nice party.
