Hey, I just heard on the radio this morning on the way to work that Extreme Makeover Home Edition is coming to Lansing next season! I hope they pick somebody I know so I can go watch, help, and DROOL over Ty Pennington! Very cool!

Holly... we had them here last year... it is definately A ZOO!!! and they won't let you really near it until the "reaveal"..... but they will ask for volunteers AND the people here had to have fundraisers for them so they could pay off the taxes on what was done on their new house... increased everything...

Forgot to mention . . .

Yesterday morning (7:00 am) , before school, my brother's students held a prayer vigil for him at the flagpole in front of the school. There were about 40 students and staff there, and they asked me to lead them in a prayer (something I am not used to). It was very moving, and I also got to give them an update on him afterward.

These same students have also organized a blood drive for him at the local hospital. Two of his former students are taking my 86 year old father out to lunch today and are going to play 500 rummy with him this afternoon to keep him company.

For all those who sometimes think the current younger generation is hopeless, there is still plenty of hope. And yes, this is at an inner city, Public High School. These kids have been spectacular.

John... in today's world... these kids make us all proud!!!

If anyone saw the segment on GMA with Dr. Oz this morning you would have all of the dieting incentive you need. I truly believe I will be changing the way I view food. I do not need to lose weight, I need to eat healthier. I have been walking and eating better but now I have more incentive to keep it up. That is not to say that I won't splurge now and then on the cruise because I sure will but it will be within reason. I taped this segment for DH. He is going to start hating this DVR thing.

Karen... I'll be the unhealthy one at the other end of the table!!!

Two suitcases and one carry on for us. I don't mind packing light one bit. Planning on using the CC gift for an extra carry on for the way home.

Okay, I assume you're all referring to paperwork that is getting delivered??? We haven't received anything more that the usual DVD "getting ready" books and the 2-page confirmation sheet from DCL. Are we missing something or is it most likely in transit

Don't fret....the only important thing in the packet is your luggage tags.....that is IF you did online checkin and printed out your docs you need to bring to sign!!!!!!!

Oh, that is a relief. I was hoping we coud do onboard check in for LAX. Thanks for posting this. No docs here yet.

Several people were asking why the airline pages were torn out of their document booklets....

I think that is because they used the normal Guest Travel Booklets and just printed new airline information and tore out the others that would only have pertained to travel from Orlando and added info to say Los Angeles.

my shoes are my feet, as my shoes will be hurting my feet and will be left under the table, honest....I hate dress shoes.
