Did anyone see the story about the chump that tried to push the police dog off the bridge after it was turned loose on him? He went off too but the poor dog didnt survive the fall! Nice guy!!!

Happened down here off the Coronado Bridge. A memorial service was recently held for the dog - I think it was held at Miramar.

Thanks for the update John. Please keep well yourself and many continued prayers for Manuel and you, Amy and the rest of the family. I can only imagine life is so stressful for you right now and the cruise is probably the last thing on your mind.

It's a beautiful day here. One of those days that makes you want to run around in circles in the yard. My mom just called and is on her way down to take me shopping. Macys is having a big sale apparanly.

He is a terrible invalid. He truly is quite bad today, and is being very quiet which is all the more concerning, considering how much he usually complains at the slightest cold.

OK, a horrible week is over. But the good part now is that in a few hours it will be Passover. My favorite holiday of the year.
The bad news is that Sukie is REALLY sick. He's got some horrible head cold and a very bad sore throat.
But he really is quite, quite ill.


Oh, I am so sorry about Sukie! Better see a doctor, you don't want anything serious now! Although I did hear the flue is in Illinois......could be that......Hope he gets better soon! Connie

The bad news is that Sukie is REALLY sick. He's got some horrible head cold and a very bad sore throat.

There is no way he can go out today, nor go to the seder tonight. I think I am going to have to call to cancel, because I really don't want to leave him at home on his own. That is a complete bummer. I was really looking forward to tonight.

On the bright side I suppose, the seder tonight can be considered a "substitute sacrifice" (I'm translating into English and that is the closest I can come to the Yiddish word).

I suppose that the we are "substitute sacrificing" the seder tonight, a smaller event, to take the place of a larger event we are looking forward to, the cruise.

But he really is quite, quite ill.

Yes, I was on that cruise also. She or he, was only on the thread to stir up controversy is what I think. Many of us came to the conclusion that "she" was really "he" who had been banned from the DIS since "he" was on that cruise and posting lots of the same stuff on another web board. It was just silly and disruptive to our planning fun.
