Not sure there's much to tell. I live in Quesnel, BC and I work in Prince George, BC. Prince George is about 120km (~75 miles) north of Quesnel. I work there 3 days a week. The other 2, I work out of my home, when I'm not needed in the office.

That's it. Sorry. Not much of a story.

I don't really know what I read. I'm all doped up on Nyquil!

Pj - you can always counter act w/ "well, I know someone who worked at DCL"

So...I'm suddenly reminded of Penelope from SNL. "So, I know 5 people who work at DCL. In fact, I dated Mickey Mouse. He asked me to marry him, so, I'm like his fiance, so... I get to drive the boat, so, that's like better than working there, so...."

Hmmmmm, could I take belt of and wear it as a mumu?

....oh poopy...it didn't cut and paste....

It's description says it's a drawstring waist. I suppose you could pull the drawstring out, but then you would have the two holes were the drawstring was.

There is a shop right next to the Disney Sport clothing shop, it is attached actually. Nothing really Disneyish about any of the clothes in there, and slightly pricey.

Pj

Thanks. :thumbsup2 I would love something Disneyish, but would also like something matching. Heck at this point anything would be cute.

I can to find out.

BTW not sure if you know this or not....but there is a phone nbr for merchandise that you can call, ask them for something, and they will search the entire database and tell you where you can find said item on Disney property. I don't have that nbr but I do have the nbr for the Disney Operator (it's programmed into my phone :rotfl2: ). 407-824-2222

Wow this is great!!. Thanks for the number.

Same thing happened to Brooke but she was a baby so I just took them out. When she wanted to get her ears pierced I tried to put them in and they were still open. Now she is fine and has had them in for a year. She won't let me change them but that's another story.

I had mine pierced when I was 25. I rarely wore earrings. I can get an earring in my right ear, but it won't go all the way through, the back must be closed. I'm not sure I want to get it pierced again unless they can go through the same hole.

Well, I'm now up to page 167. Still trying like crazy to catch up with you all! I'm skimming at this point and have been for about 100 pages (literally!), so if I miss anything important, I'm sorry!

We have a photo of our beagle Becky at a similar age looking just like that. She had dug holes all around the garden!! She was in trouble.

Wow, what a small world. So close.... We got off the Magic the morning you all left on the Med Repo. They were promoting it like crazy during our cruise. It was SO tempting to just turn around and get right back on.....We cried half the way to the airport. If we'd only known then that we were going to meet some of you here.....

Tracy - are you ready for Mouseadventure this weekend?

I'm going to try for a Priceline hotel later today for Saturday night.

Here's a cute lesson on Chicagoese......and it's SO true!!!

Chicagoese is an English dialect spoken only by da good guys.

1. Grachki (grach'-key): Chicagoese for "garage key" as in, "Yo, Theresa, waja do wit da grachki? Howmy supposta cut da grass if I don't git intada grach?"Chicago speech, as in "Da Bears" or "Da Mare" -- the latter denoting Richard M. Daley, or Richie, as he's often called.</SPAN>< /o:p></B>

4. Jewels: Not family heirlooms or a tender body region, but a popular name for one of the region's dominant grocery store chains. "I'm goin' to the Jewels to pick up some sassage."

5. Field's: Marshall Field, a prominent Chicago department store. Also Carson Pirie Scott, another major department store chain, is simply called " Carson 's."

6. Tree: The number between two and four. "We were lucky dat we only got tree inches of snow da udder night."

7. Over by dere: Translates to "over by there," a way of emphasizing a site presumed familiar to the listener. As in, "I got the sassage at the Jewels down on Kedzie, over by dere."

8. KaminskiPark : The mispronounced name of the ballpark where the Chicago White Sox (da Sox) play baseball. ComiskeyPark was renamed U.S. Cellular Field (da Cell)

9. Frunchroom: As in, "Get outta da frunchroom wit dose muddy shoes." It's not the "parlor." It's not the "living room." In the land of the bungalow, it's the "frunchroom," a named derived, linguists believe, from "front room."

10. Use: Not the verb, but the plural pronoun 'you!' "Where use goin'?"

11. Downtown: Anywhere near The Lake, south of The Zoo (Lincoln Park Zoo)

and north of Soldier Field.

12. The Lake: Lake Michigan (What other lake is there?) It's often used by local weathermen, "cooler by The Lake."

14. Braht: Short for Bratwurst. "Gimme a braht wit kraut."

15. Goes: Past or present tense of the verb "say." For example, "Den he goes, 'I like this place'!"

16. Guys: Used when addressing two or more people, regardless of each individual's gender.

17. Pop: A soft drink. Don't say "soda" in this town. "Do ya wanna canna pop?"

18. Sliders: Nickname for hamburgers from WhiteCastle , a popular Midwestern burger chain. "Dose sliders I had last night gave me da runs."

19.. The Taste: The Taste of Chicago Festival, a huge extravaganza in Grant Park featuring samples of Chicagoland cuisine which takes place each year around the Fourth of July holiday.

20. "Jeetyet?": Translates to, "Did you eat yet?"

21. Winter and Construction: Punch line to the joke, "What are the two seasons in Chicago ?"

22. Cuppa Too-Tree: is Chicagoese for "a couple, two, three" which really means "a few." For example, "Hey Mike, dere any beerz left in da cooler over by dere?"

"Yeh, a cuppa too-tree."

23. 588-2300: Everyone in Chicago knows this commercial jingle and the carpet company you'll get if you call that number -- Empire!

24. Junk Dror: You will usually find the 'junk drawer' in the kitchen filled to the brim with miscellaneous, but very important, junk.

25. Southern Illinois : Anything south of I-80. This is where Smothers' is from....

26. Expressways: The Interstates in the immediate Chicagoland area are usually known just by their 'name' and not their Interstate number: the Dan Ryan ("da Ryan"), the Stevenson, the Kennedy (da "Kennedy"), the Eisenhower (da "Ike"), and the Edens (just "Edens" but Da Edens" is acceptable).

27. Gym Shoes: The rest of the country may refer to them as sneakers or running shoes but Chicagoans will always call them gym shoes!
VERY true and a few of those apply here in MI too! Pop, the lake, and 588-2300 Empire!

I would only wear it on the cruise, so I don't think that I will.

Really, I thought I would wear it again. It kind of looks like a nice, beach cover up kind of thing. Maybe a port dress.

I am sooo tired. Just got out of a meeting....

Brooke and I have been sleeping all day. We never get to do this because the weekends are so busy. Poor Ethan had to go to school because he isn't sick.
